摘要： The present invention relates to a personal care absorbent article comprising at least two substrates each having an internal and external surface, wherein at least one substrate is a fluid permeable bodyside substrate selected from spunbond, meltblown, coform, airlaid, bonded-carded web, spunlace materials and combinations thereof; at least one substrate is an impermeable backsheet; and an absorbent core disposed in between said substrates; wherein at least the external surface of at least one substrate has applied to it a benefit agent selected from an additive composition wherein said additive composition is a polymer dispersion selected from polyolefin dispersions, polyisoprene dispersions, polybutadiene-styrene block copolymer dispersions, latex dispersions, polyvinyl pyrrolidone-styrene copolymer dispersions, polyvinyl alcohol-ethylene copolymer dispersions, and combinations thereof; an enhancement component selected from microparticles, expandable microspheres, fibers, additional polymer dispersions, scents, anti-bacterials, moisturizers, medicaments, soothers and combinations thereof; and combinations thereof.

The core composition comprising the activation means may be introduced into wet wipes such that, upon rupture and contact between the supersaturated solution and the activation means, the wet wipe solution is warmed resulting in a warm sensation on a user's skin. Any number of other active ingredients, such as biocides, can also be incorporated into the personal care product.

摘要： A soft, flexible, low-density, open-cell, thermoplastic, absorbent foam formed from a foam polymer formula including a balanced amount of a plasticizing agent and a surfactant in combination with a base resin. Thermoplastic elastomers can be added to the foam polymer formula to improve softness, flexibility, elasticity, and resiliency of the resulting foam. The surfactant may be either a single surfactant or a multi-surfactant system. The foam possesses a number of qualities, such as softness and strength, which render the foam particularly suitable for use in a variety of personal care products, medical products, and the like.

摘要： An absorbent structure expands to a greater extent along one surface than along an opposite surface when in the presence of a liquid. The absorbent structure may include a single layer, or two or more layers intimately bonded to one another. When in the presence of a liquid, the more expandable surface causes an increase in concavity in the X-Y plane of the structure, with the concavity being in the direction of the less expandable surface. One or both surfaces can be treated to adjust the respective level of expandability. By inducing a formed shape upon hydration swelling, a trough shape can be generated to facilitate absorbent properties, containment, and fit. The invention includes absorbent articles having such an absorbent structure incorporated therein.
