    摘要: An antenna device includes radiation elements formed on a common antenna board, a feeding unit for feeding the radiation elements, and a ground plate provided in electrically-spaced relation to the radiation elements. The ground plate is mounted on a box-like metal body to form a short-circuit therewith. The radiation elements may have different line lengths for transmitting and receiving a plurality of wavelengths. The feeding unit may include a first radiation element having a different electrical length than a second radiation element, a first feed point for feeding electric power to the first radiation element, and a second feed point for feeding radiation elements are grounded to the ground plate at respective first and second ground points. The difference from the first and second feed points to their respective ground points are different from one another. The antenna device may have a value equal to (H)÷(&Lgr;), where (H) is the distance between the radiation elements and the ground plate, and (&Lgr;) is a wavelength of at least one frequency transmitted or received by the antenna device, and the distance H satisfies a relationship of 1÷250≦(H)÷(&Lgr;)≦1÷100.

    摘要: The present invention aims at providing an electronic component that can be readily reduced in size. Further, even when the electronic component is reduced in size, the miniaturized electronic component has (i) a wide range in capacitance, (ii) is allowed to be produced easily, (iii) has excellent electrical characteristics and (iv) can prevent defects due to a poor connection between the electronic component and a circuit board caused by warpage of the circuit board and the like when the electronic component is connected to the circuit board. The electronic component includes a capacitor element with a pair of lead terminals and an exterior packaging material disposed so as to encapsulate the capacitor element. The maximum length of the exterior packaging material is 7.5 mm or less and the maximum length of the capacitor element is 5.5 mm or less. Capacitance C of the capacitor element satisfies an inequality of 4 pF≦C≦4700 pF and a DC break down voltage BDV satisfies an inequality of BDV≧4.5 KV. The smallest spacing between the pair of lead terminals ranges from 3.0 mm to 6.0 mm.

    摘要: In an optical pickup, an optical guide member is provided in an optical path of light from a light source, and has a plurality of inclined surfaces inclined with respect to a light beam emitted from the light source. A light-receiving element is provided for receiving light and for converting the received light into an electrical signal. The optical guide member and the light-receiving element are contained in a packaging member. The light beam from the light source is reflected by the plurality of inclined surfaces of the optical guide member, and then are directed to a recording medium. The reflected light from the recording medium is directed to the light-receiving element. At least one of dry air and inert gas such as nitrogen gas is charged in the interior of the packaging member at a pressure of 0.5 atm to 1.5 atm, thereby preventing the optical characteristics from being degraded.
