    Abstract: An inflatable slide may comprise a ramp portion and a slide portion having a head end attached to the ramp portion and a toe end opposite the head end. A ramp barrier readiness indicator may include a bendable portion located proximate the head end of the slide portion. The ramp barrier readiness indicator may be configured to pivot between a raised position and a lowered position in response to inflation of the slide portion.

    Abstract: A release system for an evacuation slide assembly of an aircraft includes a fluid delivery manifold, a first actuator, and a second actuator. In various embodiments, a fluid is configured to flow into and pressurize the fluid delivery manifold from a fluid source in response to an evacuation event. In various embodiments, the first actuator is fluidly coupled to the fluid delivery manifold, wherein the first actuator is configured to release a blowout panel of the evacuation slide assembly in response to the fluid pressurizing the fluid delivery manifold. In various embodiments, the second actuator is fluidly coupled to the fluid delivery manifold, wherein the second actuator is configured to release a soft cover of the evacuation slide assembly in response to the fluid pressurizing the fluid delivery manifold.

    Abstract: An evacuation slide may comprise an arched tube configured to extend between a first side tube and a second side tube of the evacuation slide and a strap configured to be coupled between the arched tube and a center tube of the evacuation slide. The arched tube may be configured to provide vertical support to the first side tube and to the second side tube in response to a tension in the strap. The evacuation slide may comprise a dual lane slide, the first side tube and the center tube defining a first lane and the second side tube and the center tube defining a second lane.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for evacuation systems are provided. A evacuation system for an aircraft may include a packboard, an inflatable, a blow-out panel for the packboard, and a plurality of straps coupled to the blow-out panel. A first strap is coupled between an inner surface of the blow-out panel and the packboard and a second strap is coupled between the inner surface of the blow-out panel and the inflatable. The first strap is coupled to the blow-out panel in close proximity to a first edge of the blow-out panel and the second strap is coupled to the blow-out panel in close proximity to a second edge of the blow-out panel, the first edge being positioned opposite the second edge of the blow-out panel. The blow-out panel may be retained to the evacuation system after the inflatable is deployed.
