摘要： The back part of the torso of the garment has a ventilation opening therein which can be selectively opened or closed by a slide fastener. A storage pouch is secured to the inside of the back part in surrounding relationship to the ventilation opening and provides a volume for receiving the garment when the pouch is pulled rearwardly of the garment through the ventilation opening. The storage pouch is formed of a sheet of material such as open mesh to provide free flow of air therethrough so that it will provide ventilation for the garment when it is worn as well as when it is in stored position. A flap is disposed adjacent the ventilation opening and extends laterally away from the garment when the ventilation opening is open to prevent the flap from closing off the opening. Air vents are provided under the arms. The open ends of the arms and legs can be closed by hook and loop type closure means such as VELCRO.

摘要： The present invention is related to valves for the controlling the flow of media. For example, the valves of the present invention may control the flow of solid media into a fluid stream. More, specifically, the valves of the present invention may be used to control the flow of a blasting media into an air stream as part of a blasting apparatus for treatment of a surface. In one embodiment, the media control valve of the present invention includes a valve body having a media inlet and a media outlet. A housing is connected to the valve body. A plunger is positioned within the valve body and is connected to a piston positioned within the housing. A base is connected to the valve body such that it communicates with the media outlet. The media control valve of this embodiment may further include a sleeve disposed between the valve body and the plunger. This sleeve may contain a media opening. In some embodiments of the media control valve of the present invention, the media opening has a first portion proximate to the media outlet and a second portion distal to the media outlet, the second portion being broader than the first portion. In other embodiments of the invention, the piston includes a contaminant isolation region.

摘要： A gun system has a two piece cannon assembly that is separated between a removable chamber instead of a traditional breech, and a projectile forcing cone. The chamber has a plug at one end that can accommodate any type of ignition system, and the other end is open and is attached to the barrel with a connection fitting. High pressure gases created by combustion of the propellant are sealed with a high-pressure gas compression seal at the interface between the chamber and the barrel. The connection fitting provides an attachment for a rear cannon bearing slide, which rides on rails attached to the main support structure, and also reacts any torque induced into the barrel from the actuation of the chamber/barrel locking collar. A turntable upon which are mounted two chamber elevating/support mechanisms and two projectile loader/rammer mechanisms is positioned around one of the main support structure legs.

摘要： Laterally spaced apart longitudinal frame mebmers are advanced to a frame assembly station by infeed drive units. Transverse frame members are advanced to the frame assembly table by laterally disposed sweep platforms and by diverter tables disposed above the frame assembly station. Automatic nailing assemblies on opposite lateral sides of the assembly table drive nails into the longitudinal frame members and transverse members disposed therebetween. Positioning of the transverse members is effected by computer controlled, reciprocative, joist-engaging stops downstream of the frame assembly table. Laterally spaced apart guide rails carry the frame workpiece to a glue-applying station equipped with a laterally movable nozzle and a pair of laterally spaced apart stationary nozzles. A frame indexer disposed below the glue-applying station advances and positions the workpiece under a sheet-placing station. The sheet placer positions the covering material so that abutting edges of adjacent sheets are disposed over the selected transverse frame members. An assembly indexer advances the frame and sheet material assembly to a sheet-fastening station and holds the transverse member bearing the abutting edge portions of the sheet material against reciprocative stops mounted in the base of the sheet nailing assembly. Vertically reciprocative nailing chucks are disposed above the workpiece in side-by-side pairs to position nails on the abutting edge portions of the sheet material. Associative reciprocative drive means force the nails into the sheet material and the selected transverse frame member disposed therebelow.

摘要： Disclosed is an improved method of solution mining a mineral from a subterranean deposit thereof, where an aqueous solvent is introduced into the deposit and a solution enriched in the mineral is withdrawn from the deposit through a conduit which traverses a water bearing formation which overlies the deposit. The improvement comprises establishing through the wall of the conduit communication between the water bearing formation and the conduit to effect dilution of the enriched withdrawn solution thereby avoiding plugging of the conduit caused by crystallization of the mineral.
