摘要： According to one embodiment, a mobile terminal includes: a touchscreen configured to display a first menu and receive a plurality of touch inputs of a first pattern via the first menu and to display a second menu and receive a plurality of touch inputs of a second pattern via the second menu; and a controller configured to: calculate a first moving distance of a pointer for each of the received touch inputs of the first pattern; determine a minimum among the plurality of calculated first moving distances; calculate a second moving distance of the pointer for each of the received touch inputs of the second pattern; determine a maximum among the plurality of calculated second moving distances; and determine a threshold moving distance of the pointer for discriminating the touch input of the first pattern from the touch input of the second pattern by using the minimum and the maximum.
