    摘要： A brewing receptacle for an apparatus for brewing a beverage such as coffee. The receptacle has a brewing chamber (13; 63; 113) having an entry passage and an exit passage for displacing water through the chamber (13; 63; 113) for brewing the beverage, a bottom (14; 64; 114) for supporting the particles (18; 118, 118′) (18), and a discharge 5 opening (19; 69; 119) in the bottom (14; 64; 114) for discharging beverage liquid through the bottom (14; 64; 114). At least the bottom (14; 64; 114) is invertible between a first and a second operative position. The brewing chamber (13; 63; 113) has a first volume and a first shape when the bottom (14; 64; 114) is in said first position and at least a second volume or a second shape of the brewing chamber in said second position is different from the first volume or shape, respectively.

The brewing chamber is formed by an upper part with one or more openings (5) for supplying water to the brewing chamber and by a lower part (8) with an outflow opening (16) through which the brewed beverage can leave the brewing chamber. Beverage receiving means (10,11) are present below said lower part (8). One or more further openings (22) are present between the brewing chamber and the beverage receiving means (10,11), and means for closing said one or more further openings (22) during the brewing process are present.

    摘要： A powder inhaler includes a container for storing powdered medicament. A metering member has a dosing recess and is moveable between a filling position in which the dosing recess is in alignment with an opening of the container, and an inhalation position in which it is in alignment with an inhalation channel. A mouthpiece is in communication with the inhalation channel for enabling inhalation of the dose of powdered medicament when in the inhalation position. A protective member provided between the metering member and the inhalation channel is moveable between a closed position in which the protective member covers the dosing recess, thereby preventing powdered medicament contained in the dosing recess from entering the inhalation channel, and an open position in which the protective member does not cover the dosing recess, thereby exposing the dosing recess to the inhalation channel for enabling inhalation of the dose of the powdered medicament.
