Piperidylmethyl-substituted chroman derivatives can be prepared by first reducing corresponding chromancarboxylic acid derivatives, if appropriate with prior activation, with the cyclic amines and then reducing the carbonyl group, or by reacting chromanmethyl compounds directly with the cyclic amines.
