摘要： Flame resistant foams and other compositions containing polyurethane and/or polyisocyanurate groups are prepared by reacting an organic polyisocyanate with a polyol in the presence of flame retardants, catalysts, blowing agents as well as optionally chain extenders, cross-linkers auxiliaries and additives. The flame retardents comprise a phenol or melamine formaldehyde condensate, pentaerythritol as well as ammonium phosphate and preferably in addition dicyandiamide.

摘要： Accelerated fixing of chromate-containing wood preservative salts, in which freshly impregnated timbers are subjected to fixing with superheated steam, is carried out by a process wherein the freshly impregnated timbers are subjected beforehand to a heat treatment in which both the wood surface and the internal walls of the heating chamber are heated to 60.degree.-100.degree. C., preferably 80.degree.-95.degree. C., and the timbers are then treated with superheated steam in a conventional manner.

摘要： Solvent-free coating materials and treating agents used as water-based wood or material protective agents containing emulsifiable binding agents, quaternary ammonium compounds and optional additional active agents. The wood or material protective agents are non-flammable and enable a uniform distribution of the binding agent and the quaternary ammonium compounds in the substrates. As a result, the quaternary ammonium compounds function as a dissolving mediator for the binding agents which are dispersed in water without opacifying effects and are used as a biocide. The agents can additionally absorb water-insoluble organic biocides without impairing the homogeneity or stability of the formulation of the homogeneity of the distribution in the substrate.

摘要： A wood preservative, characterized in that it includes (a) 0.5 to 50 parts of a biocidal quaternary ammonium compound or of a mixture of biocidal quaternary ammonium compounds; (b) 0.5 to 50 parts of an aliphatic or cycloaliphatic carboxylic acid having 6 to 30 carbon atoms, or a mixture of such carboxylic acids; (c) 0 to 5 parts of additional biocidal substances; (d) 0 to 20 parts of one or more binders, colorants and/or pigments; (e) 0 to 20 parts of one or more additives for imparting hydrophobicity, moisture regulation and/or drying; and (f) 40 to 99 parts of a nonpolar organic solvent, with the proviso that the ratio between components (a) and (b) is between 1:3 and 3:1.
