    摘要: Disclosed is a weld joint of an aluminum alloy member formed by joining one end of a wrought material (12) to one end of a cast member (11). The cast member has a chamfer (14), and an inserting portion (13) which extends from the lower end of the chamfer (14) toward the distal end of the case member along the lower surface of the wrought material. The distance (L) from the lower end of the chamfer to the end face (12a) at one end of the wrought material is set equal to 1.0-1.7 times of the thickness (T) of the wrought material, and the chamfer is inclined so that the angle of a groove between the chamfer and the end face (12a) at one end of the wrought material is 15-45°.

The piezoelectric element includes a first electrode, a second electrode, a piezoelectric body layer interposed between the first and second electrodes, a first internal electrode extending from the first electrode between the first and second electrodes, and a second internal electrode extending from the second electrode between the first and second electrodes. At least a part of a first end face of the piezoelectric element is in contact with the diaphragm. The first end face includes a first end of the first electrode, a first end of the second electrode, and a first end of the piezoelectric body layer. At least a part of a second end face of the piezoelectric element is in contact with the fixing plate. The second end face includes a second end of the first electrode and a second end of the piezoelectric body layer. At least a part of the first end of the piezoelectric body layer lies between the diaphragm and the first end of the second electrode. At least a part of the second end of the piezoelectric body layer lies between the fixing plate and a second end of the second electrode. The piezoelectric body layer includes an active layer that overlaps both the first and second internal electrodes, a first inactive layer that overlaps only the first internal electrode, and a second inactive layer that overlaps only the second internal electrode. A thickness of the second inactive layer between the second electrode and the active layer is larger than a thickness of the first inactive layer between the first electrode and the active layer.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is the structure of a damper that is capable of improving the degree of freedom in design to optimize the damping characteristics of the damper and is capable of allowing the damper to be easily optimized and manufactured for a wide variety of dynamic stiffness characteristics of a tool body, and a manufacturing method using the same. A plurality of ring-shaped elastic members are disposed at opposite ends of a weight part. The weight part is connected to the tool body via the elastic members. Consequently, the weight part is moved relative to the tool body. The plurality of elastic members are mounted while spacers are disposed between the elastic members, and the spacers are moved with respect to the weight part in the axial direction thereof. A viscous fluid is filled in the region surrounded by the outer circumferential surfaces of the spacers, the elastic members, and the inner surface of a hollow part of the tool body. Consequently, it is possible to damp the relative movement of the weight part with respect to the tool body.

    摘要: A droplet discharging head includes: a plurality of containing chambers provided in parallel to one another with partition walls interposed therebetween, each containing chamber, partitioned and formed by each partition wall and a member with a vibration plate, being communicated with a nozzle and containing a liquid material; a main piezoelectric element bonded onto an outer surface of the vibration plate of the containing chamber; and a sub-piezoelectric element bonded to a portion corresponding to the partition wall on a side of the main piezoelectric element of the containing chamber. The main piezoelectric element and the sub-piezoelectric element are structured so that one of the main piezoelectric element and the sub-piezoelectric element expands, when the other contracts. The vibration plate is displaced, altering a volume of the containing chamber for a droplet of the liquid material to be discharged from the nozzle. The main piezoelectric element and the sub-piezoelectric element each have a piezoelectric material layer with piezoelectricity having at least one layer, and at least one pair of electrode layers sandwiching the piezoelectric material layer. The piezoelectric material layer and the electrode layers are alternately layered in the thickness direction of the vibration plate. The piezoelectric material layer odd-numbered from a side of the containing chamber in the main piezoelectric element has an opposite polarization direction to that of the piezoelectric material layer odd-numbered from the side of the containing chamber in the sub-piezoelectric element.
