    摘要: A portable blower includes a casing (2) having an intake port (6) and a discharge port (7); an air passage (8) provided inside the casing (2) and connecting between the intake port (6) and the discharge port (7); a blower fan (17) arranged inside the air passage (8); a filter (16) arranged at the intake port (6); and a lid portion (3) openably fitted to the casing (2), the lid portion (3), when open, exposing the intake port (6) and, when closed, covering the intake port (6). When open, the lid portion (3) supports the casing (2) to let it stand on a table top. As the blower fan (17) is operated, outside air is introduced through the intake port (6) into the air passage (8) so as to be sent out through the discharge port (7).

A wireless LAN system comprises: a relay which can communicate with an external system; a master which can communicate with the relay; and a plurality of slaves which can wirelessly communicate with the master, the plurality of slaves including a first group and a second group, the first group comprising an alternative slave having a function of transmitting, when a portion of the slaves cannot receive a synchronization signal from the master, an information signal received from the master to the portion of slaves, and the second group comprising non-alternative slaves and not having the function of transmitting the information signal to the portion of slaves.

    摘要: Wireless data communication method and apparatus using two electromagnetic signals having different polarizations. Codes related to relative values of the amplitudes of the two signals are generated in correspondence with data to be transmitted. The signals are modulated according to the codes using phase shift keying and amplitude shift keying. The amplitude shift keying modulates the two electromagnetic signals by changing the difference between their two amplitudes in accordance with data encodings. The two signals are transmitted to receiver, which decodes the phases and relative amplitudes to obtain the codes, and reproduces the data from the obtained codes.

    摘要: A digital camera which uses the resources of silver halide single lens reflex cameras to provide an angle of field equal to that of a silver halide single lens reflex camera without enlarging the size of the image sensing element, and which provides excellent holding characteristics because the camera body is not elongated in the backward direction. A taking lens for a silver halide single lens reflex camera is used as a taking lens 301. A digital camera provided with a reducing lens 302 disposed behind a taking lens in the direction of the optical axis of the taking lens and on the optical axis of the taking lens, and a CCD sensor 303 for photoelectrically converting an optical image transmitted through the taking lens and the reducing lens, and which is disposed at the composite focus point of the taking lens and the reducing lens. This construction ensures the field angle is identical to that of a silver halide single lens reflex camera even when a small size image sensing element is used. The camera body is also compact.
