摘要: A hybrid vehicle includes: an engine configured to output power for traveling; a motor configured to output power for traveling; a switch configured to set a fuel economy priority mode, in which priority is given to fuel economy, and to cancel the fuel economy priority mode; and a controller configured (a) to operate the engine and the motor based on the switch setting; (b) to determine the presence/absence of degradation of fuel supplied to the engine; and (c) to prohibit setting of the fuel economy priority mode by the switch subsequently when determination is made that the fuel has degraded when the hybrid vehicle travels using power of the motor in a state in which the drive of the engine is stopped.

摘要: An engine and a motor/generator are installed in a vehicle as drive sources. The vehicle is capable of traveling in a condition where the engine is stopped. A monitor varies an indicator in accordance with an operation performed by a driver and a condition of a device installed in the vehicle, and displays the indicator to the driver. When a startup condition based on the operation performed by the driver is satisfied, the device is stopped, and the engine is kept stopped until a predetermined delay time elapses. While the engine remains stopped, variation of the indicator is restricted.

摘要: A hybrid vehicle includes: an engine configured to output power for traveling; a motor configured to output power for traveling; a switch configured to set a fuel economy priority mode, in which priority is given to fuel economy, and to cancel the fuel economy priority mode; and a controller configured (a) to operate the engine and the motor based on the switch setting; (b) to determine the presence/absence of degradation of fuel supplied to the engine; and (c) to prohibit setting of the fuel economy priority mode by the switch subsequently when determination is made that the fuel has degraded when the hybrid vehicle travels using power of the motor in a state in which the drive of the engine is stopped.

摘要: A plug-in hybrid vehicle includes: an internal combustion engine outputting driving power; an electric motor outputting driving power; an electrical storage device storing electric power; and a controller. The controller is configured to learn an electric power consumption rate by calculating the electric power consumption rate when the vehicle has traveled on the electric power stored in the electrical storage device using only the electric motor as a driving force source and to control travel of the vehicle using at least one of the internal combustion engine and the electric motor as the driving force source. The controller is configured to, when a driving frequency of the internal combustion engine that is driven as the vehicle travels on at least one of an uphill and a downhill is higher than a predetermined frequency, invalidate the calculated electric power consumption rate or information acquired to calculate the electric power consumption rate.

摘要: In an electric-mileage learning when a running mode of a plug-in hybrid vehicle is a CD mode, acquisition of information for the electric-mileage learning is not performed in the case where the running mode is changed from the CD mode to a CS mode during one trip even when the running mode is changed to the CD mode afterward. The electric-mileage learning is performed by calculating a trip electric mileage using only information acquired in the CD mode before a change to the CS mode for the first time. This avoids inclusion of an error caused by running on the uphill road in the CS mode in a learned electric mileage even when the running is performed. This enhances the accuracy of the learned electric mileage, thus accurately calculating a possible EV running distance.
