摘要: The CPU load and amount of memory use are reduced in a structured document processing system that performs extraction, editing, and searching of structured documents. Position information for specific tags which are branches in a structured document is retrieved in advance and held in a position information holding portion, and based on this information, partial documents which are elements, attributes, and element contents are extracted from the structured document. Further, extracted portions can be applied directly to a template for document conversion, to generate other structured documents.

摘要: A cleaning apparatus and a cleaning method for cleaning a object are provided. In the cleaning apparatus, a drying chamber 42 and a cleaning bath 41 are separated from each other up and down, respectively. Thus, a space in the drying chamber 42 can be insulated from a space of the cleaning bath 41 through rotary doors 59a and a slide door 72. In the cleaning method, a cleaning process in the cleaning bath 41 is carried out while sealing it by the rotary doors 59a. On the other hand, a drying process in the drying chamber 42 is accomplished while sealing and closing it by the slide door 72. Consequently, there is no possibility that, during the drying process, the object is subjected to a bad influence from a chemical treatment.

摘要: A cleaning and drying apparatus includes a cleaning bath 22 for collecting cleaning liquid and also discharging the liquid, a drying chamber 23 arranged above the cleaning bath 22 and a wafer boat 24 for conveying semiconductor wafers W between the cleaning bath 22 and the drying chamber 23. Dry gas nozzles 37 for ejecting dry gas are provided in the drying chamber 23. A shutter 36 is arranged between the cleaning bath 22 and the drying chamber 23, for insulating the cleaning bath 22 from the drying chamber 23. A central processing unit 60 controls respective operations of the dry gas nozzles 37 and a driving unit 52 for the shutter 36. With the arrangement, after the wafers W have been cleaned in the cleaning bath 22, the cleaning liquid is discharged through a bottom of the bath 22, while the dry gas is supplied from the dry gas nozzles 37 to contact with surfaces of the wafers W and the cleaning liquid in a first drying process. Next, a second drying process is carried out due to condensation of the cleaning liquid on the wafers and the dry gas. In this way, the improvement in drying efficiency and the reduction of consumed dry gas can be accomplished.

摘要: A pulse wave measuring device includes a light emitter unit, a light receiver unit, a pulse wave measuring unit and a contact portion. The light receiver unit receives reflected light, which is reflected from a finger after transmission of the light from the light emitter unit. The pulse wave measuring unit measures a pulse wave based on the reflected light, which is received with the light receiver unit. The finger contacts the contact portion at a time of measuring the pulse wave. The contact portion has a recess, which receives at least a portion of the finger at the time of measuring the pulse wave, and a protrusion is provided in an inside of the recess.

摘要: Disclosed is a method of manufacturing a battery electrode in which a positive electrode lead tab and a negative electrode lead tab each of which is integrally formed with a collector formed of a metal foil and has excellent characteristics. The method includes separating a battery electrode having a desired size from a strip-shaped electrode in which an active material is intermittently applied onto a collector. The strip-shaped electrode includes an n-th application part, an n-th non-application part adjoining the n-th application part, and an (n+1)-th application part that adjoins the n-th non-application part on an opposite side at which the n-th application part adjoins the n-th non-application part (n is a positive integer). The battery electrode is cut out from the strip-shaped electrode, including at least the n-th application part, n-th non-application part, and (n+1)-th application part.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes first and second drums subjected to image formation by exposure to light at exposure positions to form latent images and then transferring toner images, formed by developing the latent images with toner, onto a transfer material at transfer positions; first and second gears provided coaxially and integrally with the drums; a driving source for rotationally driving the drums; and a branch gear, meshable with the first and second gears at first and second mesh points, for transmitting a driving force from the driving source to the first and second gears. A sum of a time of movement of a portion of the branch gear located at the first mesh point to the second mesh point and a time of integer-time rotation of the branch gear is equal to a time of movement of the transfer material from the transfer position of the first drum to that of the second drum.
