摘要: A catheter-type iontophoresis device is adapted to cause a drug solution to permeate into a cancer site or the like of a digestive organ on a pinpoint basis by iontophoresis. The catheter-type iontophoresis device includes a working electrode assembly and a non-working electrode assembly for administering a drug by iontophoresis. A DC electric power source is connected to the working electrode assembly and the non-working electrode assembly with opposite polarities, and a rod-like member supports the working electrode assembly and the non-working electrode assembly at its tip. The rod-like member is detachably supported at a tip of a flexible cable supported by an endoscopic device.

摘要: A room temperature curable organopolysiloxane composition is provided. The composition comprises (I) an organopolysiloxane which is a condensation product of component (A) (an organopolysiloxane comprising R3SiO1/2 unit and SiO4/2 unit and containing 0.02 to 0.12 mol/100 g of hydroxy group bonded to the silicon atom) and component (B) (a diorganopolysiloxane raw rubber having hydroxy group on opposite ends thereof), (II) an organosilane compound having at least 2 hydrolyzable groups bonded to the silicon atom on average per molecule, and/or its partial hydrolytic condensate, (III) a solvent, and (IV) a silica nano particle having its surface modified by a branch structure. The composition is capable of providing a high strength film without incorporating reinforcement fillers, with no curing inhibition by the inorganic nano particles, and without inhibiting gas separation performance realized by the inorganic nano particles.

摘要: A process for separating a first gas from a second gas, having the steps of: (1) contacting one side of a semi-permeable gas separation membrane with a feed gas mixture containing at least the first gas and the second gas, wherein the membrane divides a separation chamber into a high-pressure side into which the feed gas mixture is fed and a low-pressure side; (2) maintaining a pressure differential across the membrane under conditions such that the first gas in the feed gas mixture selectively permeates through the membrane from the high-pressure side to the low-pressure side of the membrane; (3) removing from the low-pressure side of the membrane permeated gas mixture which is enriched in the first gas and depleted in the second gas; and (4) removing from the high-pressure side of the membrane a gas mixture which is enriched in the second gas and depleted in the first gas. The membrane used is made, at least in part, of a thin discriminating layer of polyimide having the repeating formula ##STR1## wherein R is: ##STR2##
