    摘要: An endoscope according to the present invention comprises an observation optical system and an insertion section which includes a bending tube. A plurality of segments, which are rockably connected to one another, are arranged in the bending tube, and wire guides are fixed to the inner peripheral surface of each segment. One end of each of bending-control wires is fixed to the segment at the distal end portion of the bending tube. The other end of each wire extends to the proximal end portion of the insertion section, through the wire guides of the other segments. In this arrangement, the bending tube is bent by pulling the other ends of the bending-control wires. The endoscope further includes bending means arranged in the bending tube and adapted to bend, when the bending-control wire is pulled, the bending tube for moving the observation optical system such that the center of the system moves from the center of the insertion section to the periphery thereof. Thus, even though the bending tube is bent sharply, the position of a flexible tube of the insertion section, which may possibly obstruct the field of view, can be shifted to the right or left from the center of the field, thereby keeping the view field entire.

    摘要: A plurality of electronic endoscopes, individually having insertion sections of different lengths, are classified into a plurality of endoscope groups according to the length of the insertion section. A signal cable, having a length predetermined for each endoscope group, is disposed in an electronic endoscope which belongs to its corresponding group. An identification information member, indicative of the endoscope group, is provided at a connector section of the endoscope, and identification information of the information member is identified by an endoscope control device. The control device has a function to compensate a driving pulse transmitted to the electronic endoscope and an image signal from a solid-state image sensor of the endoscope, in accordance with the identification information (cable length information).

The system expendability is so excellent that the above equipment will be compatible with technologically-upgraded endoscopes, signal processors, or light sources.

    摘要: An oxidation method includes supplying oxidizing and deoxidizing gases to a process field by spouting the gases in lateral directions respectively from first and second groups of gas spouting holes. Each group of holes is disposed adjacent to target substrates on one side of the process field and arrayed over a length corresponding to the process field in a vertical direction. Gases are exhausted through an exhaust port disposed opposite to the first and second groups of gas spouting holes with the process field interposed therebetween and present over a length corresponding to the process field in the vertical direction. This causes the gases to flow along the surfaces of the target substrates, thus forming gas flows parallel with the target substrates. The process field is heated by a heater disposed around the process container to generate oxygen radicals and hydroxyl group radicals within the process field.
