    摘要: The present invention provides a brake device that can improve the pressure-increasing response of wheel cylinder hydraulic pressure. The invention is provided with: a master cylinder (5) actuated by the driver operating the brake, the master cylinder (5) being connected to a wheel cylinder (8) via a first oil channel (11), and capable of increasing the wheel cylinder hydraulic pressure; and an auxiliary pressure-increasing part (auxiliary pressure-increasing part (106) and stroke simulator (27)) for assisting in the increasing of the wheel cylinder hydraulic pressure by the master cylinder (5) of the pump (7).

The brake apparatus includes a master cylinder provided in such a manner that a piston is axially operable in a master cylinder housing, and a stroke simulator including a reaction force piston axially operable by brake fluid introduced into a stroke simulator housing. A rotational resistance of the rotation-stopping part to the drive shaft is set to be less than a rotational resistance of the seal part.

According to an aspect of the present invention, a brake apparatus includes a master cylinder unit and a stroke sensor. The master cylinder unit includes therein a piston configured to carry out a stroke via a rod axially actuated according to an operation performed by a driver on a brake pedal, and an oil passage through which brake fluid flows after flowing out according to the stroke of the piston. The stroke sensor is attached to an outer wall of the master cylinder unit and configured to detect an axial stroke amount of the piston.
