    摘要： A method and apparatus for transmitting/receiving feedback information in a multi-user multi-antenna system and a system supporting the same are provided, in which all possible combinations are created using column vectors included in a precoding codebook, column vectors are correlated in each of the combinations, column vectors comprising correlations exceeding a reference threshold are designated as similar vectors, at least two similar vector sets are formed with the similar vectors, and feedback information is generated based on the at least two similar vector sets and transmitted.

    摘要： A wireless communication system, and method using multiple antennas, includes a base station that applies predetermined weight vectors to multi-user signals and transmits the multi-user signals through a plurality of transmission antennas, and a plurality of mobile stations that receive and process the multi-user signals, wherein each mobile station includes a signal reception unit that processes the multi-user signals, and a feedback signal generation unit that estimates channel characteristics, over which the multi-user signals have been transmitted, from the multi-user signals, classifies a plurality of weight vectors to be applied to the estimated channel characteristics into a plurality of sets such that vectors orthogonal to one another are classified into a single set, selects a set maximizing a transmission capacity from among the classified sets, and feeds back weight indexes of weight vectors included in the selected set and weighted channel information to the base station.

    摘要： The present invention provides the multiuser Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) systems with a feedback method which includes measuring, at the terminal, received Signal to Noise Ratios (SNRs) for all transmit antennas, selecting one of precoding matrixes, which has best SNRs, retrieving an index mapped to the selected preceding matrix from a predetermined mapping table, and transmitting the index with the SNRs of the selected precoding matrix. In the present invention, it is possible to reduce feedback information amount without degradation of the sum rate performance of the system since the feedback information is transmitted in a form of index implying appropriate precoding matrix and corresponding SNRs.
