    Abstract: An architectural covering including a motor assembly is provided. The covering may include a head rail, an end cap enclosing an end of the head rail, a roller tube rotatably supported within the head rail at least partially by the end cap, and a motor assembly including a housing in splined engagement with the end cap to non-rotatably secure the motor assembly to the end cap. The motor assembly may be received at least partially within the roller tube and may be in driving engagement with the roller tube. A covering material may be attached to the roller tube such that rotation of the roller tube extends or retracts the covering material.

    Abstract: A covering for an architectural covering is provided. The covering may include a rotatable outer roller, a rotatable inner roller, a first shade secured to the outer roller, and a second shade secured to the inner roller. The outer roller may define an elongated slot extending along a length of the outer roller and opening to an interior of the outer roller. The inner roller may be received within the outer roller and may define a central longitudinal axis. The first shade may be retractable onto and extendable from the outer roller. The second shade may extend through the elongated slot and may be retractable onto and extendable from the inner roller. The elongated slot may be substantially horizontally aligned with the central longitudinal axis of the inner roller when the first shade is in a fully extended position.

    Abstract: A bottom rail for a covering of an architectural-structure covering is disclosed. In one example of an embodiment, the bottom rail includes a first or front member, and a second or rear member. The first and second members are arranged and configured to be coupled to each other with a bottom portion of a covering positioned in between the first and second members. Thus arranged, the first member is coupled to the second member, and the covering is securely coupled to the bottom rail. In addition, and/or alternatively, the covering may be received within the bottom rail along a tortuous pathway. In addition, and/or alternatively, the bottom rail may include a front profile or surface that substantially corresponds to a front profile of battens extending across a width of the covering. Moreover, the bottom rail may enclose the lowermost batten so that consistent spacing of the battens is maintained.

    Abstract: A weighted rail is provided that skews and/or counterbalances an associated shade member to counteract an asymmetric force applied to the rail by the shade member. The rail may include an independent weight that is at least partially positioned rearwardly of a longitudinal axis of the rail, thereby counterbalancing a force applied to the rail by the shade member that tends to rotate the rail about its longitudinal axis. Additionally, or alternatively, the weight may be movable along a length of the rail to counterbalance a force applied to the rail by the shade member that tends to rotate the rail about an axis that is orthogonal to its longitudinal axis and to the plane of the shade member. The rail is attachable to a variety of shade members including, but not limited to, shade members having multiple panels attached to each other with a plurality of vanes.
