    摘要: An adaptive frame prediction method includes: using at least one block partition method to partition an MB that needs to perform intra-frame prediction; using at least one prediction mode to predict each sub-block in each block partition result and obtaining a sub-block residual of a current sub-block; selecting multiple transformation methods according to the sub-block type to transform each sub-block residual and obtain the code-rate distortion ratio of the current sub-block; performing frame prediction for the MB according to the block partition method, the prediction mode, and the transformation method corresponding to the code-rate distortion ratio of a minimum value among all code-rate distortion ratios. An adaptive prediction apparatus disclosed herein includes: a block partition module, a predicting module, a transforming module, a selecting module, and a frame predicting module. The method and the apparatus herein perform the intra-frame or inter-frame coding flexibly, get more adaptive to the local texture statistic features of the MBs, and improve the coding efficiency.

    摘要: Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for improving search speed and quality using differential indexing. One method includes an operation for building a first index for a database, the first index being for first tokens resulting from normalizing words in input data. Further, the method includes building a second index for the database, the second index being for second tokens comprising words of the input data eliminated from the first index during the normalizing. The method further includes operations for receiving a raw query for a search of the database, and for generating a search query based on tokens of the raw query. The search query comprises a combined search of the first index and the second index. A search is performed based on the search query, and results of the search are returned for presentation on a display.

    摘要: A video encoding and decoding method and device and a video processing system are provided. In the encoding method and device, ordinate and abscissa position information of each block in a searching area is established by selecting an appropriate origin of coordinates of the searching area; meanwhile, an offset of a current macro block is encoded by using information of peripheral blocks of the macro block encoded currently as a context for encoding position offset information of a corresponding macro block in an adjacent view reference image of the current macro block. In the decoding method and device, position information of a corresponding macro block in a coordinate system is obtained by parsing offset information of the corresponding macro block of the current macro block, and motion information of the corresponding macro block is used as motion information of the current macro block. So the coding efficiency is increased.
