Abstract: Some demonstrative embodiments include apparatuses, systems and/or methods of transmit power control for wireless communication. For example, an apparatus may include a controller to control a plurality of transmit powers of a plurality of directional beams formed by an antenna array to transmit a wireless communication. The controller may control the plurality of transmit powers based on at least first and second power limits, the first power limit including a power density limit corresponding to a power density of a directional beam of the plurality of directional beams, and the second power limit including a total transmit power limit corresponding to a total of the transmit powers.

Abstract: Generally, this disclosure provides systems and methods for a modular antenna array using radio frequency (RF) and baseband (BB) beamforming. A system may include a plurality of antenna modules, each of the antenna modules further including an array of antenna elements coupled to an RF beamforming circuit, the RF beamforming circuit to adjust phase shifts associated with the antenna elements to generate an antenna beam associated with the antenna module; and a central beamforming module coupled to each of the antenna modules, the central beamforming module to control the antenna beam associated with each of the antenna modules and to generate signal adjustments relative to each of the antenna modules, wherein the arrays of antenna elements of the antenna modules combine to operate as a composite antenna beamforming array.

Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to techniques to dynamically configure a modular antenna array (MAA) for multiple independent uses. An MAA may include a plurality of antenna modules, each of the antenna modules comprising an array of antenna elements coupled to a radio frequency (RF) beamforming circuit, the RF beamforming circuit to adjust phase shifts associated with the antenna elements to generate an antenna beam associated with the antenna module, a dynamic configuration unit to receive an indication of a usage for a one of the plurality of antenna modules, and a main beamforming unit coupled to the dynamic configuration unit and each of the antenna modules, the main beamforming unit to generate signal adjustments relative to the one of the plurality of antenna modules to control the antenna beam associated with the one of the plurality of antenna modules based at least in part on the usage.
