An antenna duplexer includes a piezoelectric substrate having a surface, a grounding terminal to be grounded, first and second surface acoustic wave (SAW) filters mounted on the piezoelectric substrate, first and second terminals connected to the first and second SAW filters, respectively, and a line mounted on the surface of the piezoelectric substrate between the first SAW filter and the second SAW filter. A stray coupling path is produced between the first and second terminals. A first end of the line is connected to the grounding terminal. A second end of the line opens and is coupled capacitively to the stray coupling path. The antenna duplexer has large isolation characteristic between the surface acoustic wave filters.

The present invention provides a portable image capturing apparatus having also a navigation function while preventing increase in the size and manufacturing cost of the apparatus. As a part for displaying a guide screen of a navigation system, a rear LCD capable of displaying a high-definition image of an image capturing apparatus which can be carried by a user is used. In other words, a part in which a display of a car navigation system is formed can be separated from the car navigation system and used as a digital camera. Therefore, only by connecting the image capturing apparatus to a car navigation system body in a data transmittable/receivable manner without providing most of functions necessary for car navigation for the image capturing apparatus, the car navigation system is formed.

A communication device includes a sub-rack unit and a plurality of plug-in units. The sub-rack unit includes a back wiring board having first connectors arranged in lines thereon, and a frame plate including vertical ribs and placed on said back wiring board so that the vertical ribs separate the lines of the first connectors. Each of the plug-in units includes: a printed board including top and bottom sides and parallel first and second sides, the printed board having second connectors provided on the first side thereof; a metal case including top and bottom faces, and parallel first and second side faces so as to cover the printed board; and first and second spring members. Each of said plug-in units is mounted in the sub-rack unit with the first and second connectors being connected so that the first and second side faces of the metal case are pressed outward against the vertical ribs of the frame plate by resilient forces of the first and second spring members, respectively.

An antenna duplexer capable of optimally decreasing the insertion loss and the voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) at a center frequency and its vicinity in the pass band in transmitter-band of the device. The output port of transmitter surface-acoustic-wave (SAW) filter (11) is electrically connected with phase shift circuit (13), to which receiver SAW filter (12) is also electrically connected. The transmitter and receiver SAW filters have different pass bands and attenuate the other pass band with each other. Phase shift circuit (13) shifts the phase of receiver SAW filter (12) in the transmitter-band. In addition, phase shift circuit (13) has the characteristic impedance in which the magnitude of the reflection coefficient at the center frequency in the transmitter-band of receiver SAW filter (12) is to be not less than 0.8 and the phase angle of reflection coefficient at the center frequency in the transmitter-band of receiver SAW filter (12) takes the range from 0° to 45°.

A variable focal length lens having a simple structure and capable of being used for applications requiring small size is provided, as well as a focal length adjusting device and an imaging device using the same. A variable focal length lens 10 has a lens 11, a positive electrode 13, and a negative electrode 14. A second layer 11b and a first layer 11a constituting the lens 11 are formed from polyvinyl chloride with which a plasticizer has been mixed. The hardness of these layers is adjusted by adjusting the mixing quantity, plasticizer type, or etc. The second layer 11b is formed so as so cover at least a light transmission region of the first layer 11a. When a voltage is applied between the positive electrode 13 and the negative electrode 14, the second layer 11 b and first layer 11 a are deformed to be pulled to the positive electrode 13, and thereby the curvature of the variable focal length lens 10 is varied to vary the focal length.
