    摘要: A connection terminal is placed with an opening end of a recessed portion of the connection terminal contacting a top of a flexible substrate, a linking conductive member is pushed from a bottom toward a top of the flexible substrate, whereby the linking conductive member projects inside the recessed portion through the opening end as catching a part of the flexible substrate, and the part of the flexible substrate is sandwiched between a pressing portion of the linking conductive member and a first inner portion in the recessed portion to allow the pressing portion to contact a conductive portion exposed on the bottom of the flexible substrate and allow a contact portion of the linking conductive member to contact a second inner portion in the recessed portion, whereby the connection terminal is electrically connected to the conductive portion of the flexible substrate via the linking conductive member.

    摘要: Along an up-down direction, a connector is mateable with a mating connector which includes a plurality of mating terminals each having a mating contact point. The connector comprises a plurality of terminals which are, at least in part, accommodated by a housing. The terminals are arranged in a first direction perpendicular to the up-down direction. Each of the terminals has a first portion, a second portion and a coupling portion. The first portion includes a contact point and a guiding portion. The contact point is positioned apart from the second portion in a second direction perpendicular to both the up-down direction and the first direction. The contact point is in contact with the mating contact point while the mating contact point is positioned between the contact point and the second portion in the second direction in the mated state. The guiding portion is positioned above the contact point and guides the mating contact point towards the contact point upon the mating. The coupling portion couples the first portion with the second portion. The coupling portion is positioned at a position different from a position of the contact point in the first direction.

    摘要: An electronic equipment comprises a case and a connector which is attached to the case. The connector comprises a housing and a waterproofing member. The waterproofing member is sandwiched by a mating connector and a side portion of the housing in a second direction when the connector is mated with the mating connector. The waterproofing member has at least one first contact portion, at least one second contact portion, at least one third contact portion and at least one fourth contact portion. The third contact portion is pressed against the side portion in the second direction by elasticity of the waterproofing member upon the mating of the connector with the mating connector. The holding member holds the signal terminal, and the lower shell is attached to the holding member. A cable receiving portion of the lower shell forms the cable holding portion at least in part, and a grounding connection portion forms the fitting portion at least in part. The cable fixing member is fixed to the cable receiving portion, and a cable extends in an intersecting direction from the cable receiving portion. In the intersecting direction, a clamp portion overlaps with the fitting portion.

    摘要: When a connection object is connected to a connector, an upper jaw portion of a first terminal presses an upper contact point against an upper signal line. Hence a lower signal line is pressed against a lower contact point so that a contact point support portion is pressed against a stop portion of a housing. At least a part of force applied to the stop portion acts as force to deform downward an upper wall of a receiving portion for receiving a lower jaw portion of the first terminal. A reinforcing portion of the lower jaw portion of the first terminal reinforces the upper wall from beneath. Since strength necessary for the upper wall can be reduced, the housing can be downsized and thus the connector can be downsized.

The connector comprises a holding member and a lock member. The holding member has a holding portion and a stop portion. The lock member has a held portion and a lock portion. The held portion is held by the holding portion. The lock portion is located below the mating lock portion and faces the mating lock portion in the upper-lower direction under the mated state. The coupling portion has an abutment portion. When the lock portion is moved toward the held portion in the first horizontal direction in accordance with removal of the connector from the mating connector, the abutment portion is brought into abutment with the stop portion so that a movement of the lock portion is restricted.
