Disclosed herein is a method of manufacturing a thin film transistor including titanium oxides as an active layer and the structure of the thin film transistor film manufactured using the method. The thin film transistor includes: a substrate; an active layer formed on the substrate using polycrystalline or amorphous titanium oxides; and an insulating layer formed on the active layer. Further, the method of manufacturing the thin film transistor includes: forming a substrate; forming an active layer on the substrate using polycrystalline or amorphous titanium oxides; and forming an insulating layer on the active layer. The present invention is advantageous in that the performance of the thin film transistor can be improved, the thin film transistor can be manufactured at low cost, harmful environmental problems can be solved, and the thin film transistor can be widely applied to various electronic apparatuses including, but not limited to, integrated drivers in active-matrix displays and transparent electronic devices.

An apparatus for receiving and transmitting electromagnetic signals. In one aspect, the apparatus is an antenna. The antenna comprises a dielectric substrate and a non-metallic conducting layer substantially overlying the substrate. In one aspect, the non-metallic conducting layer is an intrinsic conducting polymer (“ICP”). In one exemplary method of manufacturing the antenna, the desired outline of the antenna may be first printed out on a substantially flexible substrate. In one example, a substrate made from polyethylene terephthalate may be used.

The novel light conversion system includes photosensitive optoelectronic devices, or photovoltaic cells, that convert electromagnetic radiation into electrical currents without applying an external voltage. Power conversion efficiency is a primary criterion for evaluating the performance of photovoltaic cells. Photovoltaic cells with high power-conversion efficiencies are more cost effective and more suitable replacements for conventional energy sources. This novel light conversion system uses a polycrystalline organic material with unique material properties for achieving high, power-conversion efficiencies.
