摘要: Leveling railway vehicles, leveling secondary suspension systems, lift-systems for suspension systems, and other related systems and methods are shown and described. In one example, a railway vehicle includes a superstructure, a bogey, and a leveling secondary suspension system. The leveling suspension system includes at least one spring positioned between the superstructure and the bogey, and a secondary suspension-mounting lift system (SMLS) interfaced with coil spring. The SMLS includes a spring-mount (SM) and a piston assembly. In operation, pressurized hydraulic fluid acts on the piston and lifts the superstructure, thereby allowing the superstructure's access to be raised to a desired height, e.g. a platform height.

摘要: An air vent that automatically opens and closes in response to changes in the ambient air temperature. The air vent includes a housing, a louver frame mounted to the housing and a series of vent louvers pivotally mounted to the frame. The louver frame includes a cam member for automatically pivoting the louvers between an open position and a closed position in response to ambient air temperature changes. The cam member includes a spring fixedly mounted at one end to the housing and mounted at the other end to a camming bar, which is mounted to the louvers. This spring is formed of two different types of metals which react to changes in the ambient air temperature. More specifically, the metals are chosen so that the spring expands as the temperature increases to rotate the cam bar in one direction and incrementally open the louvers, and contracts as the temperature decreases to rotate the cam bar in the reverse direction and incrementally close the louvers. The camming bar is mounted to end bars which are pivotally attached along opposing ends of the louvers.

摘要: In a crawler type traveling apparatus so arranged on each side of a vehicle as to be capable of rocking up and down through each pivot shaft and including a track frame rocking round the pivot shaft, and a final reduction gear inclusive of a sprocket and a hydraulic motor that are provided at an end part of the track frame, the invention provides a crawler type traveling apparatus for achieving a compact and economical piping construction and high reliability. A hydraulic motor is provided on a vehicle inner side with respect to a final reduction gear. Hydraulic passages communicating with the hydraulic motor are formed in a pivot shaft. Ports for connecting respectively a predetermined number of hydraulic piping arrangements connected to the hydraulic motor and the like are formed in an outer peripheral surface of the pivot shaft.
