摘要： A virtual disk is comprised of segments of unused capacity of physical computer-readable storage media co-located with computing devices that are communicationally coupled to one another through network communications. The computing devices execute one or more of a client process, a storage process and a controller process. The controller processes manage the metadata of the virtual disk, including a virtual disk topology that defines the relationships between certain ones of the physical computer-readable storage media and a particular virtual disk. The client process provide data for storage to certain ones of the computing devices executing the storage processes, as defined by a virtual disk topology, and also read data from storage from those computing devices. The client process additionally expose the virtual disk in the same manner as any other computer-readable medium.

摘要： The invention comprises a method of insulating a structure. The method comprises providing a quantity of a foam-forming composition between structural elements and permitting the foam-forming composition to expand to form a foam. The foam-forming composition comprises an aqueous emulsion or solution of a natural or synthetic film-forming polymer, a surfactant, hydrogen peroxide and an activating agent which causes the hydrogen peroxide to release oxygen gas sufficient to produce a foam. An insulated structure is also disclosed.

摘要： The invention is a flexible-walled container for lotion, including sun protection lotion, moisturizer lotion and other lotions and similar liquids, which container includes a mirrored material as one of its components so that a user will have a mirror available whenever the user applies or reapplies the lotion. In a preferred embodiment, the container is a typical flexible, collapsible tube which has a circular end cap at one end and is sealed at its other end by a straight line seal. In this preferred embodiment, the invention is completed when a mirrored tab is adhesively affixed to the tube near the straight line seal.

摘要： An image transferring device is disclosed having a support plate, a reflective plate and a core member adapted to support the support plate and reflective plate thereon. The core member includes an operative position stop member and a storage position stop member for each of the support plate and reflective plate. The support and reflective plates are angularly rotatably about the core member and each plate's angular rotation is restricted between the operative position stop member and the storage position stop member. In an operating configuration, the support plate is automatically positioned at a specified angle with respect to the reflective plate. In a storage configuration, the plates fold toward each other for easy storage.
