The first driven gear and the second driven gear rotate in opposite directions about an axis of rotation in response to rotation of a driving gear by a motor. The power tool further includes a spindle having a longitudinal axis and a first end that is configured to support a tool element. The spindle is coupled to one of the first driven gear and the second driven gear by a scotch yoke mechanism to reciprocate the spindle with respect to a housing of the power tool along the longitudinal axis of the spindle in response to operation of the motor.

    摘要： An auxiliary handle for use with a power tool includes a first clamp for engaging a housing of the power tool at a first location, and a second clamp for engaging the housing at a second location. The second clamp is movable independent from the first clamp in a first direction toward the first clamp to couple the auxiliary handle to the housing and the second clamp movable independent from the first clamp in a second direction away from the first clamp to uncouple the auxiliary handle from the housing. The auxiliary handle further includes a grip operable to move the second clamp in at least one of the first and the second directions, and together the first clamp and the second clamp surround only a portion of a chuck of the power tool.

A blade clamp mechanism is coupled to the spindle for reciprocating movement therewith, and the blade clamp mechanism is configured to attach the saw blade to the spindle. The blade clamp mechanism includes a collar mounted on the end of the spindle, and the collar is rotatable about the longitudinal axis of the spindle between an engaged position and a disengaged position in response to movement of the blade clamp mechanism actuator between the first position and the second position.

The first ring includes a cam surface spaced from the central axis in a radial direction. The clutch mechanism adjustment assembly also includes a second ring coaxial with the first cam ring and in facing relationship with the cam surface, and a cam member disposed between the cam surface and the second ring. In response to rotation of the first ring relative to the second ring, the cam member engages the cam surface to displace the first ring relative to the second ring and compress the resilient member to increase the amount of torque transferred to the output shaft.
