摘要: A tubular prosthesis comprises a tubular graft; and an undulating stent having a plurality of apexes, a first end defined at least in part by a first group of the apexes, and a second end defined at least in part by a second group of the apexes, the first group of apexes being pivotally attached to the tubular graft so as to form a plurality of circumferentially arranged hinges about which the stent can pivot so that the second group of apexes can move between a position where they are inside the tubular graft and a position where they are outside the tubular graft. In one embodiment a tubular prosthesis comprises a tubular graft having a first end margin, a second end margin and a central portion therebetween; and an undulating stent having a plurality of apexes, a first end defined at least in part by a first group of the apexes, and a second end defined at least in part by a second group of the apexes, the undulating stent being secured to the tubular graft in a manner such that it can be inverted to extend generally in the same direction as the tubular graft with one end thereof forming an end of said tubular prosthesis and pointing away from the central portion of the tubular graft.

摘要: A stent graft system and method of use includes a stent graft for fixation at an attachment site with graft material defining at least one opening having an opening perimeter; a support attached to the graft material; a guide rail attached around the opening perimeter; and a helical anchor having a plurality of coils with a point at one end. The plurality of coils are rotatable around the guide rail to cause the pointed end of the coils to penetrate the graft material and the adjacent tissue in contact with the stent graft to sew the stent graft to the attachment site.

摘要: A stent graft fixation system and method of use includes a stent graft system for fixation to a vessel wall, the system having a helical anchor and a stent graft. The helical anchor has a number of coils with a point at one end and a helical anchor axis, and the stent graft has a stent graft axis. The coils are operable to sew the stent graft to the vessel wall with the helical anchor axis generally parallel to the stent graft axis.

摘要: A system for modifying a heart valve annulus includes a helically helical anchored annuloplasty device delivered to the annulus via an elongated delivery member. The helical anchors of the devices disclosed herein are rotated into the valve annulus along an anchor guide by using a driver that is movably disposed in the delivery member. A tether is disposed within an inner channel of the helical anchor and a locking device is used to secure the annuloplasty device after the valve annulus has been modified. The annuloplasty device can be delivered to the annulus using, traditional surgical approach or a minimally invasive or catheter based methods.

摘要: A double walled stent system particularly suited for treating abnormalities of the right ventricular outflow tract is disclosed having an exterior stent component and an interior stent component. The exterior stent component is secured to the interior stent component in a non-fixed, sliding relationship. The exterior stent component includes a plurality of longitudinally-extending connectors such as straight or sinusoidal bands. The interior stent component has a generally tubular cylindrical body and is centered within the exterior stent component. The stent system has a contracted delivery configuration and a radially expanded configuration for contacting the vessel wall. When deployed, the longitudinally-extending connectors of the exterior stent component come in contact with the vessel wall and fix the stent system to the treatment site. The interior stent component also radially expands but remains centered inside the exterior component and makes little to no contact with the vessel wall.
