    摘要: The disclosure relates to methods and apparatuses that allow for channelization code allocation adapted for uplink MIMO transmissions. A method for use in a user equipment of a telecommunication system comprises spreading data symbols of a plurality of streams to be transmitted from the user equipment as MIMO transmissions. The step of spreading the data symbols comprises allocating, for each stream, at least one channelization code (62) to be applied for spreading the data symbols of the stream. The plurality of streams are allocated channelization codes (62) from a predefined code tree (61) of applicable channelization codes such that any channelization code (62) is allocated to more than one stream only if there is no applicable channelization code left in the code tree (61) which currently is not allocated for any stream. The channelization code allocation scheme makes it possible to avoid inter-stream interference in many scenarios of uplink MIMO transmissions.

    摘要: A system can be implemented in a station associated with a wireless network and the station can receive uplink time division multiplexed (TDM) transmissions from a user device. The system includes a first filter to filter uplink TDM transmissions, associated with the user device, during a first period of time when the user device is transmitting on an uplink data channel (DCH) to generate a first interference estimate. The system further includes a second filter to filter uplink TDM transmissions, associated with the user device, during a second period of time when the user device is not transmitting on the uplink DCH to generate a second interference estimate. The system also includes a third filter to filter uplink TDM transmissions, associated with the user device, during the first and second periods of time, to generate a third interference estimate. The system further includes a power control unit to determine one or more power control commands for sending to the user device based on the first, second and third interference estimates.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method, apparatus for selecting transport formats in a wireless transmitting device and wireless communication device associated therewith, wherein the wireless transmitting device supports transmission modes including single-stream transmission mode and multiple-stream transmission mode and comprises a transmit buffer to buffer data before transport format being selected for transmitting said data to a wireless receiving device, comprising: acquiring radio qualities associated with each stream being transmitted to the wireless receiving device; setting the transmission mode according to received radio qualities; detecting whether there is buffer limitation for said transmit buffer when multiple-stream transmission mode is set; and when buffer limitation is detected and multiple-stream transmission mode is selected for stream transmission, allocating the buffered data among the multiple streams based on the received radio qualities associated with respective streams and selecting transport formats for respective streams of the multiple streams based on their respective allocated buffered data quantities. This enables to obviate the TX power imbalance in case of multiple-stream transmissions, balance code and power usage among UEs in a cell, and thus improve code multiplexing efficiency.
