摘要： A method for manufacturing a paper or board web in which stock is fed from a headbox (100) to a wire section (200), in which water is removed from the web (W) and from which the web (W) is passed to a press section (300), in which water is pressed out of the web (W) and after which the web (W) is dried in a dryer section (400) and reeled by means of a reel-up (800). According to the invention, additives, fillers and/or fines are fed into the stock of the surface layers of the web (W) in order to reduce the pore size distribution of the web in the surface layers so as to substantially correspond to a precoated web. The invention also relates to a paper or board machine which is characterized in that it is structured for enabling the feeding of additives, fillers and/or fines into a fiber stock such that an uncoated web substantially corresponds in its properties to a precoated web.

摘要： A process arrangement for the short circulation in a paper or board machine including stock chests for component stocks, metering pumps for component stocks, cleaning devices, pumps, a headbox and a wire section as well as a system of pipes connecting these elements, together with regulation devices. After the metering pumps, the component stock flows are passed into a closed mixing volume in which the component stocks are mixed and diluted with a first dilution water flow. From this closed mixing volume, the stock is passed in a closed space by a first feed pump of the main line of the process through a screen and a centrifugal cleaner to the suction side of a second feed pump of the main line, where a second dilution water flow is passed to the stock. The second feed pump feeds the stock through a machine screen to the inlet header in the headbox.

摘要： Water hydraulics are used in a paper or board machine, in particular in applications requiring lubrication and in the like in which an operating medium is subjected to pressure. A chemical which is used in the stock system (A) of the process is mixed with the water used in water hydraulics before the water is passed to a site of application (5) in order to raise the viscosity of the water and chemical mixture to a level required by the site of application (5). The water and chemical mixture is passed (3in) after that to the site of application (5) and circulated through the same at least once, after which said water and chemical mixture is recovered (2) and passed to the stock system (A) of the process as diluted to a suitable concentration.

摘要： A multi-layer headbox for a paper or board machine including stock inlet headers each providing one stock and coupled to a tube bank which in turn is coupled to a respective intermediate chamber. The stock flows from the intermediate chambers into a turbulence generator and through pipes in the turbulence generator into a slice cone to be discharged therefrom onto a forming wire. The multi-layer headbox includes distribution valves for regulating the flow of dilution water across the width of the headbox. Each distribution valve communicates with a distribution plate placed in connection with the tube bank. From each valve, the dilution liquid is distributed at the same time to all the stocks that form the different layers of the web in the multi-layer headbox at a specific position of width of the multi-layer headbox.

摘要： A WLL subscriber unit (1) includes a telephone (2) that is bidirectionally coupled to a wireless transceiver (11) through a teleadapter (10). The WLL subscriber unit further includes a user interface and a data processor coupled to a memory and to the user interface for prompting a user to enter information into the WLL subscriber unit, for receiving the entered information, and for storing the entered information in the memory. The data processor is responsive to the stored information for controlling the operation of the WLL subscriber unit to accept or reject at least one of specified incoming calls or outgoing calls. In one embodiment the user interface includes a keypad of the telephone, in another embodiment the user interface includes a speech recognition function, in a further embodiment the user interface includes a speech synthesis function, and in one further embodiment the user interface includes a data port for connecting the WLL subscriber unit to an external data processor. The memory is a non-volatile memory that stores a plurality of different lists, including an incoming call rejection list, an outgoing call rejection list, and an outgoing group call rejection list. The WLL subscriber station is responsive to a telephone number dialed by a user or received from the wireless network for comparing all or a portion of the number to at least one of the stored lists, and for rejecting a call that matches a stored telephone number or portion of a telephone number.
