摘要: A brake assembly includes a base having two first connection parts and each first connection part has a first hole and a second hole. Two second connection parts extend from the underside of the base. Two arms are pivotably connected to the two second connection parts. A driving member has a driving part and a positioning portion. The driving part has two curved driving face formed on two ends thereof. The driving member is connected to the first hole by a rod, and a brake cable is connected to the positioning portion. The action members are respectively located in the two second holes. When the driving member is pivoted by the brake cable, the driving member pushes the action members to pivot the arms to brake the wheel. The driving member allows the force to be sent to the brake pads directly and quickly, and the brake assembly is light and compact.

摘要: A single-use, multi-purpose neuro-dissector (“dissector”), suitable for a variety of surgical procedures, is disclosed. A handle of a material which degrades in heat sufficient to sterilize same holds an extended, slender rod, preferably of stainless steel or similar suitable material. A section of the rod near its distal end (away from the handle) is turned at an angle to the remainder of the rod, and a cutting surface and cutting edge are formed in the turned-down section. The distal end of the rod forms a non-cutting tip, for example a blunt ball tip, to avoid unintentional cutting of surrounding tissues. The cutting surface and edge are coated with a material which prevents re-sharpening, such as titanium nitride. The combination of a handle material which degrades in the heat of sterilization, if attempted, and a cutting surface which is not re-sharpenable, render the dissector a single-use device.

摘要: To optically couple a tether to a ribbonized distribution cable, a cut is made in the distribution cable, exposing the ribbons inside. The correct ribbon is located and spliced to a tether. A splice protection sleeve is applied to the splice and placed into the existing cut on the cable so as to be recessed within an outer boundary of the cable jacket. The buffer tube from the tether cable is also guided toward the cut and fixed in place. A breakout assembly is installed on the distribution cable to secure the tether to the distribution cable.

摘要: A post mount includes an outer body, an inner body, and a base. The outer body defines at least one aperture through which at least one fiber optic cable can enter the outer body. The inner body is configured to fit inside the outer body in a telescoping arrangement. The inner body is configured to move along a longitudinal axis relative to the outer body. The inner body defines a conduit extending longitudinally through the inner body. The conduit is configured to enable fiber cables to be routed through the conduit. The base is coupled to the inner body and is configured to secure and support a fiber distribution hub.

摘要: A system and method of managing content are disclosed. In a particular embodiment, the method of managing content includes receiving a request from a content application for content associated with a content subject and selectively retrieving a plurality of fields of a record stored at a database. The record is associated with the content subject. Each of the plurality of fields includes a content segment. Further, the method includes converting each content segment to a first format associated with a first content application. The first content application includes at least one of the content segments with content having a first technical level. The method also includes converting each content segment to a second format associated with a second content application. The second content application includes at least one of the content segments with content having a second technical level greater in technical specificity than the first technical level.

摘要: A system and method for actuating a shut-off valve in a wellbore wherein the shut-off valve element can be positively closed before the pump is removed from the well. A hydraulic actuator component is operably associated with the shut-off valve to provide for selective isolation of the well by positive closing of the valve prior to removal of the pump and opening of the valve after replacement of a pump within the wellbore. The hydraulic actuator component has a balanced hydraulic design wherein the valve closure element may be moved toward an open or closed position by flow of hydraulic fluid through first and second hydraulic lines. When a repaired pump or replacement pump is placed into the well, the actuator is stabbed into a packer element to seat it. The hydraulic actuator assembly is then operated to open the shut-off valve, thereby reestablishing well operation.
