    摘要： A dispensing carton made from a single blank which is capable of being formed, filled and sealed on automatic equipment. The dispensing carton is made tamperproof by providing for a cover tab, which must be removed from the carton before a slidable closure section can be displaced to open the carton. The removal of the cover tab permanently alters the appearance of the carton which acts as a deterrent to tampering. The dispensing carton further provides a slidable closure section rupturably connected to the carton, which requires no hinge connection to the carton after its initial use. The slidable closure section is further provided with a locking flange which cooperates with a cut line in the carton to control the longitudinal displacement of the closure section.

    摘要： A package for containing a preselected amount of a product in the form of a pill or the like is adapted to be converted for use as a cup for containing liquid and includes a pair of sidewalls made of paperboard which are joined together along three mutual edges thereof, the fourth mutual edges defining the top of the cup. A support flap is connected by a perforated score line along an edge of one of the sidewalls at the top of the cup and has a plastic blister bonded to one face thereof within which a pill or other product may be contained. The support flap is provided with an aperture therein registering with the interior of the blister and a frangible closure, preferably a metal foil, is secured in overlapping relationship to the aperture to prevent loss of the product prior to the time of use. Spaced fold lines in the sidewalls allow folding of the package to a compact condition for storage, and the support flap may be torn away from the top of the cup during use to allow ready access to the product.

    摘要： An expandable carton and a blank for forming same has top and bottom panels which are coupled by a self-locking expanding arrangement along three respective side edges of the top and bottom panels. At the fourth side edges of the top and bottom panels, closure flaps are hingedly coupled to close and lock the carton in its expanded or assembled configuration. This permits the carton to be shipped and stored in essentially flat, collapsed configuration, and then easily assembled and closed by simple manual operations without gluing. The carton may be opened by a tear strip arrangement to gain access to the carton interior.

    摘要： A paperboard container for use in a microwave oven to cook an expandable food has a square bottom support panel, upwardly and outwardly tapering, concave, trapezoidal side panels connected to each edge of the bottom support panel, and a cover of overlapped, top panels. A top panel is foldably connected to an upper arcuate edge of each of the side panels and a seal is removably attached to one of the top panels and an opposed one thereof to close the container. Upon expansion of the food within the container in a microwave oven, the concave side panels will expand to aid in confining the food within the perimeter of the container.

    摘要： A carton with a pyramid-shaped bottom and a blank for forming same has a collapsible pyramid-forming bottom structure which is hingedly coupled to the bottom edges of the side wall panels of the carton. The bottom structure comprises four triangular bottom panels, each of which is hingedly coupled to the bottom edge of one of the side wall panels and pairs of which are hingedly coupled together. One panel of each of the pairs of bottom panels has a locking tab with an abutment edge for abutting the abutment edge of the other locking tab to retain the carton in an assembled configuration against the bias of the carton towards its collapsed configuration. This permits the carton to be shipped and stored in essentially flat, collapsed configuration and then easily rearranged to its assembled configuration by the application of inwardly directed forces against side edges of the flat, collapsed configuration of the carton.
