摘要： The present invention relates to dimedone functional self-bonding room temperature vulcanizable silicone rubber compositions. The self-bond additive is selected from silyl maleates, silyl fumarates, silyl succinates, silyl isocyanurates and mixtures thereof. Preferably the self-bonding additive is prereacted with the cross-linking agent before they are incorporated into the RTV composition. This prereaction of the self-bonding additive and the cross-linking agent imparts shelf-stability to the composition.

摘要： A stable, one-package, silicone RTV composition convertible to a tack-free elastomer comprising:(1) a polydiorganosiloxane base polymer,(2) an effective amount of condensation catalyst,(3) a stabilizing amount of a silicon-nitrogen compound for scavenging hydroxy radicals which releases ammonia as a by-product of the scavenging reaction, and(4) an effective amount of scavenger for said ammonia by-product selected from the group consisting of molecular sieves, acids and mixtures thereof.

摘要： A method for continuously producing a room temperature vulcanizable composition is disclosed. A base mixture of a silanol stopped fluorosilicone polymer, a silica filler and iron oxide are processed in an extruder at an elevated temperature between about 50.degree. and 200.degree. C. Thereafter, a tin based catalyst, an acetoxy cross-linking agent and an optional adhesion promoter are added to the extruder near the exit port. The resulting material has improved storage stability.

摘要： A method for producing a room temperature vulcanizable composition that has a high rate of extrusion and a low sag wherein a base mixture of a diorganopolysiloxane and an end stopping cross linking ketoximosilane are reacted prior to being added to a first injection port along an extruder, an inorganic filler being added to said base mixture at a second injection port along the extruder, an M stopped silicone fluid being partitioned into two parts and the first part of said M stopped fluid being added to the filler containing base mixture at a third injection port at the middle of the extruder, and a tin catalyst, an adhesion promoter and the second part of the M stopped fluid being added at a fourth injection port along the extruder said mixture comprising these components being extruded towards the extruder exit port.

摘要： The present invention relates to an alkoxy-functional one-component RTV silicone rubber composition with improved adhesion to polyacrylate plastics. The improved adhesion is obtained by utilizing in the composition a pre-reacted mixture having therein the adhesion promoter, silane scavenger and tin condensation catalyst. Optionally there may also be in the mixture, a polyalkoxysilane cross-linking agent.
