摘要： An electric toothbrush comprises a body portion and a head including a motor, a moving portion, a handle, and a gear arrangement between the moving portion and the motor. The moving portion rotates, oscillates and/or reciprocates about an axis normal to a longitudinal axis of the head. The moving portion can include stiff bristles and massaging tips and the static portion can include soft bristles and massaging tips. The body portion houses the motor. A switch is operatively connected to the motor to provide momentary or continuous operation of the toothbrush. In one embodiment the gear arrangement includes a shaft, a worm gear and a pair of step gears. In another embodiment the gear arrangement includes a plurality of gears and at least one swivel arm for drive the moving portion in a rotating, oscillating or reciprocating manner.

The laser liner of the present invention may comprise an elongated arm and at least one moveably mounted laser. The elongated arm may have a substantially straight longitudinal edge in which a user may line up a piece of media against it. The moveably mounted laser may be adapted to travel longitudinally along at least a portion of the elongated arm, and when powered, projects a beam upon the media in an orientation perpendicular to the longitudinal edge of the elongated arm.

摘要： A frame assembly supports a pair of rolls of clear plastic laminating tape. The two rolls of laminating tape are rotatably disposed facing the other, top and bottom, and dispense toward the center towards a stationary bar to the fore of the device. The frame is open to the rear and a rear feed guide is used to insert a web of cardstock or paper so that the inserted material is directed in between the convergent tape rolls so as to be adhesively secured on top and bottom to the laminating tape. The cardstock is advanced through the tape rolls by pulling the forward distal ends of the laminating rolls. A cutting bar that moves downward to meet the stationary bar. The web of stock and laminating tape form a laminated sheet that is cut off by applying downward pressure against the cutting bar on the stationary bar. A resistive heating element may be provided to cut the laminating tape thermally.

The agitating assembly includes a motor and an agitating member operatively attached to the motor. The agitating member and the motor cooperate to transmit vibrations from the housing to the associated soap bar. In another embodiment, the hand-held massaging device includes a housing having an upper and a lower portion, the upper portion being rotatably mounted to the lower portion, the lower portion being removably attached to the associated soap bar, and an oscillating assembly secured to the housing. The oscillating assembly includes a motor and an oscillating member operatively attached to the motor. The oscillating member and the motor cooperate to impart an oscillatory motion to the associated bar soap relative to the upper portion of the housing.

The shoe care apparatus is adapted to receive two removable and replaceable heads; a first head is for low-speed application of polish or cleaning material, and a second head is for high-speed polishing or buffing. A cleansing system package includes a cleansing device and a plurality of disposable pads.

摘要： A hand-held device for shredding paper comprising a pair of rotary cutting wheels disposed within a housing between an inlet slot and an outlet slot. A motor is positioned in the handle to drive the cutting wheels through a gear assembly. One wheel serves as a drive wheel, which is coupled directly to the gear assembly, and the other wheel serves as an idler, driven from a spur gear attached to the drive wheel at the end opposite a gear case. Paper sheets are fed into the inlet slot and pulled between the wheels. Wheels are comprised of a stack of alternating discs of a large and small radius, and staggered so as to allow the two wheels to be interleaved while rotating in opposite (clockwise and counterclockwise) directions and maintain clearance. Large discs have a frictional edge to grab and feed the paper into the intersection of the wheels, tearing the paper into strips and forcing the strips into the outlet slot. A battery compartment in the handle contains the batteries for energizing the motor.
