摘要： Disclosed is a pop-up type portable terminal. The pop-up type portable terminal includes a main housing, a sub-housing slidably coupled to the main housing such that the sub-housing is slidably accommodated in or withdrawn from the main housing, a main board installed in the main housing, a guide beam fixed to one side of the main board and extending lengthwise along the main board, a guide rail installed at a rear surface of the sub-housing and extending lengthwise along the sub-housing so as to engage with the guide beam for guiding a sliding movement of the sub-housing, and a torsion coil spring installed in the main housing and having a first end portion fixedly coupled to the main housing and a second end portion fixedly coupled to the sub-housing in order to provide bias force in a direction urging the sub-housing to be withdrawn from the main housing. Noise caused by friction between the guide beam and the guide rail is thereby significantly reduced.

摘要： Disclosed is a battery pack locking device for a portable wireless terminal which is configured to utilize a locking method in which support protrusions formed at one end of a battery pack are engaged with support grooves formed at the terminal body of the portable wireless terminal, and the battery pack is then brought into close contact with the seat surface of the terminal body, while using a button member adapted to perform a depressing operation, thereby achieving an easy separation of the battery pack from the portable wireless terminal. In accordance with the configuration, it is possible to prevent the fingernail of the user from being damaged during the attachment or detachment procedure of the battery pack. In particular, it is unnecessary to provide an additional space for allowing a horizontal movement of the locking device. Accordingly, there is an increased flexibility in the design of the terminal appearance.

摘要： A waterproof structure for a portable terminal including a flexible printed circuit (FPC) extending outside of a first housing of a pair of housings from inside the first housing and arranged inside of a second housing of the pair of housings. A wiring hole is formed in each housing to provide a path allowing passage of the FPC therethrough. A waterproof member provided in the wiring hole substantially contacts at least inner walls of the housings and an outer circumferential surface of the FPC to prevent movement of the FPC. An outer circumferential surface of the waterproof member substantially contacts a circumference of an inlet of the wiring hole or an inner wall of the wiring hole. The waterproof member is provided between the housing of the portable terminal and the FPC improving a waterproof function and preventing moisture or water from being introduced into the housing of the terminal.
