    摘要: A display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer. The first substrate includes a switching element connected to a gate line and a data line crossing each other, and a pixel electrode electrically connected to the switching element. The pixel electrode includes a first domain-dividing portion extending in a direction. The second substrate is spaced apart from the first substrate to have a cell gap of about 3.1 μm to about 3.3 μm. The second substrate includes a common electrode including a second domain dividing portion formed in a region between the first domain-dividing portions adjacent to each other. The liquid crystal layer is interposed between the first and second substrates. The liquid crystal layer includes a liquid crystal composition having a refractive anisotropy (Δn) of about 0.1010 to about 0.1030.

    摘要: An end-sealant composition for a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel includes an acrylic polymer resin, a polymeric photoinitiator polymerized into an acrylic chain, and an acryl-philic coupling agent. The end-sealant composition exhibits reduced diffusion into the liquid crystals during an end-sealant forming process. Image defects such as stains around fill ports and incidental images are thereby prevented, so that high quality displays can be prepared. Use of the end-sealant composition can provide high performance for high dielectric constant liquid crystals that are widely used in the fabrication of liquid crystal display panels.

The first substrate includes a sealant which is formed on a peripheral area surrounding a display area including a plurality of pixel portions. The sealant includes a photocuring material hardened by multiphoton absorption and a thermosetting material hardened by heat. The second substrate faces the first substrate and is combined with the first substrate by the sealant. Thus, the reliability of manufacturing the display device, the display quality, and the productivity may be improved.

A second substrate including a second alignment layer is formed. At least one of the first alignment layer and the second alignment layer includes a reactive mesogen. A liquid crystal layer is interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. A light is irradiated onto the second substrate to provide pretilt angles of liquid crystal molecules of the liquid crystal layer.

    摘要: A sealant for a display device includes a photoinitiator having an oxime ester compound or a 2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl-diphenyl-phosphineoxide compound, and a curing resin. The sealant may further include a curing agent, a coupling agent, and a filler. A display device includes a first substrate having a display area, a second substrate opposite to the first substrate, a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, and a sealing pattern contacting the first substrate and the second substrate so as substrate to combine the first substrate and the second substrate with each other. The sealing pattern may include a photoinitiator having an oxime ester compound or a 2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl-diphenyl-phosphineoxide compound. In a method of manufacturing the display device, a sealant including a photoinitiator having an oxime ester compound or a 2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl-diphenyl-phosphineoxide compound, and a curing resin is coated along a peripheral portion of the first substrate to form a sealing pattern. A liquid crystal is dropped on the first substrate. The second substrate opposite to the first substrate is disposed on the first substrate. The sealing pattern is cured to combine the first substrate and the second substrate with each other.

The method includes if an emergency call connection event occurs, searching for an accessible network and checking an insertion state of a SIM card; if the unlicensed-band network is accessible and the SIM card is not inserted, performing an IP-based Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) registration process by using information pre-stored in a memory; and connecting the emergency call through the unlicensed-band network.
