摘要: Sliver weight unevenness correcting apparatus of a feed-forward type has: a sliver weight measuring section for detecting the variations in weight of a bundle of slivers; a correcting draft device having front rollers disposed downstream of the sliver weight measuring section relative to the direction of advancement of slivers, the front rollers being rotated at a constant speed, and back rollers disposed between the sliver weight measuring section and the front rollers, the back rollers being rotated at a variable speed; a rotation detector for detecting the number of revolutions of the front rollers; an unevenness correcting circuit having a ratio circuit for operating a ratio (E.sub.0 /E.sub.1) between a reference sliver weight (E.sub.0) and the detected weight (E.sub.1) thereof, a delay circuit for delaying the speed control of the back rollers of the correcting draft device for a predetermined period of time, and a contrasting operational circuit for multiplying the ratio (E.sub.0 /E.sub.1) and a ratio (N.sub.F /k) between the number (N.sub.F) of revolutions of the front rollers and a reference draft value (k) and for producing a multiplied signal (E.sub.0 /E.sub.1 .multidot. N.sub.F /k); and a speed control circuit for producing a speed control signal responsive to the multiplied signal to control the speed of back rollers through a rotation transmitting mechanism. This arrangement enables accurate correction of sliver weight unevenness even short in wavelength in a drawing frame running at a high speed.

摘要: The present invention relates to a pneumatic twisting spinning apparatus comprising a drafting device for forming a fleece, a deflection roller, a pneumatic twisting nozzle for injecting air into a twisting tube to form a swirling air stream, so that the fleece can be twisted into a yarn, a take-up roller for withdrawing the yarn, and a winding roller. The deflection roller is disposed adjacent to the front roller, for varying the direction of fleece travel and supplying the fleece along an outer peripheral wall of said front roller, and separating ends of peripheral fibers from the fleece as free fibers, which will be twisted by the pneumatic twisting nozzle so as to be wound around central main fibers, thereby forming a bundled yarn.

摘要: In a driving gear of a rotor type open end fine spinning machine, a rotation shaft of a spinning rotor and a drive shaft are connected through a speed multiplying mechanism, the spinning rotor facing to a fiber feed passage and a yarn taking passage is rotated at a multiplied speed by rotation driving of the drive shaft, a cover is installed to surround the spinning rotor and the rotation shaft thereof, an air passage is constituted so that air flow to guide fibers at the fiber feed passage into the spinning rotor passes through inside of the cover and is exhausted out of an exhaust port provided on the cover, and air flow passing through the air passage eliminates the friction heat caused by rotation of the spinning rotor.

摘要: A weft yarn storage unit disposed between a yarn supply package and a weft insertion device for storing a weft yarn to be inserted in the warp shed, comprises a differential yarn feeding device for feeding the weft yarn from the yarn supply package, and a yarn storage means for winding the fed weft yarn therearound by co-operating with the differential yarn feeding device, storing the wound weft yarn therearound and unwinding the stored weft yarn therefrom by co-operating with the weft insertion device, the yarn storage means being continuously rotating in a direction opposite to the direction in which the weft yarn is unwound at a predetermined circumferential speed in response to an insertion speed of the weft yarn. This weft yarn storage unit allows high-speed weft insertion while preventing the yarn breakage by reducing ballooning of the weft yarn when the weft yarn is released off the yarn storage drum.

摘要: A flexible type rapier loom having a loom body in which a shed is formed in warp threads, a wheel rotatably mounted on the loom body and oscillatedly driven back and forth, a flexible tape of a magnetic and elastic material attached at one end thereof to a circumference of the wheel and carrying a weft holder at the other end thereof, and a plurality of magnetic attracting mechanisms provided on the outer circumference of the wheel to attract the flexible tape to the outer circumference of the wheel by strong magnetic forces, thereby inserting the flexible tape into the shed and withdrawing the flexible tape from the shed to insert a weft into the shed in an assured manner even at a high speed operation of the loom.

摘要: A spindle apparatus is composed of a holding member to define a casing, a spindle shaft to support a rotor rotatably, a neck bearing disposed radially of the spindle shaft, a buffer disposed between the holding member and the neck bearing, an end bearing secured to the end of the holding member remote from the rotor, and a mechanism provided between the buffer and the end bearing for transmitting power from a source of power to the spindle shaft for rotating the shaft. This spindle, rotatable at a high speed without any substantial vibration or noise, is applicable to spinning machines, more particularly to an overhung rotor.
