    摘要: An image signal processing device includes a reference signal generating portion, a determination portion, and an extraction portion. The reference signal generating portion generates and outputs a reference signal that sequentially transmits reference pulses shifted from horizontal synchronization pulses on a horizontal synchronization signal by a predetermined shift time. The determination portion determines whether the horizontal synchronization pulses are normal by comparing time differences between input of the horizontal synchronization pulses and input of the reference pulses with the shift time. The extraction portion extracts line image data points from an image signal in synchronization with the input of the horizontal synchronization pulses that have been determined as normal.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes low and high resolution imaging portions, a data generating portion, first and second reading portions, and a reading control portion. The first reading portion acquires, from the high resolution imaging portion, as output data for one pixel, data acquired by n-number of light receiving elements adjacent to each other in a main scanning direction in the high resolution imaging portion. The second reading portion acquires output data from light receiving elements arranged in the main scanning direction from a start position displaced by a distance corresponding to m times a second pitch in the main scanning direction from a first reference position in the high resolution imaging portion, where m is an integer. The reading control portion executes a reading operation for a document by the low and high resolution imaging portions, selecting the first reading portion or selecting both of the reading portions.

    摘要: An image reading apparatus includes a light source unit, an image sensor, an attenuator, an analog processor and an A/D converter. The attenuator generates a second analog signal by voltage-dividing a first analog signal by two resistors. The analog processor generates a third analog signal by amplifying the second analog signal with a predetermined gain. The A/D converter converts the third analog signal into a digital signal. A voltage-dividing ratio of the attenuator is not higher than a ratio of a maximum value of the amplitude of a signal inputtable to the analog processor to a maximum value of the amplitude of a signal having a possibility of being output from the image sensor.

    摘要: An image reading device includes a light source, a photoelectric conversion portion, a first radiation control portion, and a first image generating portion. The light source radiates lights of R (red), G (green), and B (blue). The photoelectric conversion portion receives light reflected from a document and outputs an electric signal corresponding to a light reception amount. The first radiation control portion sequentially radiates two color lights of G and R or B from the light source to each line along a main scanning direction on the document while alternately switching the lights of R and B on a line-by-line basis. The first image generating portion generates color image data for one line, based on at least three electric signals corresponding to lights of R, G, and B among the electric signals corresponding to respective color lights radiated to at least adjacent two lines by the first radiation control portion.
