    摘要: Transaxle systems for a vehicle are disclosed where each of right and left transaxle units includes a hydraulic pump, a hydraulic motor and a casing incorporating the hydraulic pump and motor. Each hydraulic pump has a pump displacement control means operatively connected to a pump control arm pivoted on the casing, and each hydraulic motor has a motor displacement control means operatively connected to a motor control arm pivoted on the casing. A single motor controlling manipulator is operatively connected to the motor control arms to simultaneously shift the motor displacement control means of the right and left transaxle units between large displacement positions and small displacement positions.

The transaxle further includes a gear train for transmitting power from the motor shaft to the axle, and a gear locking system having a locking pawl. A gear of the gear train is adapted to engage with the locking pawl.

    摘要: In a differential locking mechanism, a first differential side gear is fixed on a first axle, a second differential side gear is fixed on a second axle, and a bull gear including an engagement part is disposed between the first and second side gears. A cylindrical part is provided on the first differential side gear unrotatably relative to the first differential side gear, and includes a circumferential portion surrounding the first differential side gear. A differential locking slider is fitted on the circumferential portion of the cylindrical part unrotatably relative to the cylindrical part and axially slidably. The differential locking slider is slidable in a direction to engage its engagement part with the engagement part of the bull gear, and in another direction to disengage its engagement part from the engagement part of the bull gear.

The hydraulic pump and the hydraulic motor are attached to the center section that is formed therein with a fluid sump fluidly connecting the hydraulic pump to the hydraulic motor. At least a bottom portion of the center section is submerged in a fluid sump in the casing. A charge port for fluidly connecting the fluid sump to the fluid passage is open at the bottom portion of the center section in the fluid sump, The bottom portion of the center section is downwardly convex so as to have an apex at the lowest portion. The opening of the charge port is directed to the apex of the convex bottom portion of the center section.
