摘要: A turbine flowmeter comprises a rotor comprising a hub rotatably supported on a shaft at an axial position of a flowmeter housing and a plurality of blades embeddedly fixed to the outer peripheral surface of said hub, means for detecting the rotation of said rotor, and a couple of cone members disposed respectively on the up-stream side and the down-stream side in the flow direction of a fluid being measured to confront at least one surface of the hub of said rotor in coaxial alignment with said rotor. The diameter of at least one cone member of the couple of cone members, at the side to confront said rotor, is larger than outer diameter of the hub of said rotor, whereby a stagnant fluid region is formed between the enlarged diameter part of said cone member and the outer peripheral surface of said hub for holding in stagnant state a part of said fluid being measured.

摘要: A purpose of the present invention is to provide a diversity receiver and a diversity receiving method, which are capable of performing a diversity reception without depending upon a moving speed, and also capable of achieving compatibility between reception performance and current consumption. A bit error rate calculator (107) calculates a bit error rate from a demodulation result of a demodulator (106); a switching frequency calculator (108) calculates a switching frequency which corresponds to such a frequency for alternately switching initiating and stopping operations of the diversity reception in response to the bit error rate calculated by the bit error rate calculator (107); and a switching controller (105) performs a switching operation for selecting both two receivers (103, 104), and another switching operation for selecting any one of the two receivers (103, 104) in accordance with the switching frequency calculated by the switching frequency calculator (108) so as to synthesize respective output signals with each other to output a synthesized signal in a case where two sets of the receivers (103, 104) are selected.

摘要: It is a theme of the present invention to provide a diversity receiving device and a receiving scheme switching method, capable of attaining a power saving by executing a switching between a diversity reception and a single reception with high accuracy. A receiving scheme switching portion (112) switches a receiving mode between a single reception and a diversity reception based on a receiving scheme switching threshold, updates the receiving scheme switching threshold based on the receiving rate calculated by a receiving rate calculating portion (110), switches the receiving mode into the single reception in which respective ones of antennas (101, 105), radio demodulating portions (102, 106), and decoding portions (103, 107) are employed respectively and also turns OFF respective power supplies of the remaining antenna (101 or 105), the remaining radio demodulating portion (102 or 106), and the remaining decoding portion (103 or 107) when the received quality calculated by the received quality calculating portion (111) exceeds the receiving scheme switching threshold, and switches the receiving mode into the diversity reception in which the antennas, the radio demodulating portions, and the decoding portions are employed in both branches when the received quality is below the receiving scheme switching threshold.

摘要: A comb-shaped piezoelectric unit, such as may be used for a mechanical signal source or in a display device for displaying raised letters for reading by blind persons. The piezoelectric unit includes a plurality of strip-shaped drive members extending from a common base part, a first metal electrode layer on each of the drive members with the first metal electrode layers among the drive members being insulated from one another, and a common metal electrode layer formed on the other side of the drive members, connected commonly to all drive members. To construct a display device for the blind, pins are attached to the free ends of each of the drive members, the pins being protrudable through respective holes in a rigid plate when the corresponding drive members are actuated by applying a voltage thereto.
