When the B2 brake is in an engaged state, the relative rotation between the inner race and the outer race of one-way clutch is limited.

The navigation method and system stores the information on the scenic byways in the map database and facilitates retrieval thereof in response to the request by the user. Alternatively, the information on the scenic byways and scenic places can be retrieved from the remote data server through wireless communication.

摘要： A support structure for supporting a brake, as a frictional coupling device, includes a snap ring, a friction plate, and a back plate. The snap ring fits in a groove that extends in a circle. The back plate is disposed between the friction plate and the snap ring. The back plate is pressed against the snap ring. The snap ring has a first end face that faces the back plate and a second end face that faces the opposite side from the first end face and is in contact with a sidewall of the groove. The back plate has an end face that is in contact with the first end face. The static friction coefficient between the first end face of the snap ring and the end face of the back plate is smaller than that between the second end face of the snap ring and the sidewall of the groove.

摘要： A piston for an automatic transmission, wherein a first piston member forming a cylindrical portion of the piston has a plurality of axial cutouts and a circumferential groove formed in one axial end portion thereof, and a second piston member forming a bottom portion of the piston has a plurality of radially extending engaging jaws fitted in the plurality of axial cutouts, while a retainer ring is fitted in the circumferential groove and held in abutting contact with the engaging jaws fitted in the axial cutouts, whereby the first and second piston members are fixed to each other. At least one of the engaging jaws of the second piston member cooperates with the retainer ring to form a gap therebetween, which prevents a stress concentration on portions of the circumferential groove adjacent to the axial cutouts, upon an axial movement of the piston, so that the required thickness of the retainer ring can be reduced, leading to size reduction of the piston.

摘要： Here is disclosed a method and apparatus for folding a continuously fed in two. The web is folded along guide means defining a folding guide line with a fold angle gradually reduced. In the course of gradually reducing the fold angle, a plurality of guide rolls through are pressed against transversely opposite side edge portions of the web. Immediately before the stage on which the web is completely folded in two, there are provided detector means adapted to detect actual positions of the respective side edge portions and swing rolls located upstream of these detector means adapted to change a crossing angle of the web with respect to a machine direction. Actuators interposed between the detector means and the swing guide rolls cause the swing guide rolls to swing and thereby to move the side edge portions toward predetermined positions.
