摘要: The present invention provides a therapeutic agent for overactive bladder, which has both a KATP channel opening action and a nitrate-like action and is further expected to produce an ameliorating effect for ensuring a reflexive and suitable cooperation between contraction-relaxation of abdominal/bladder wall muscle and relaxation-contraction movement of urethral sphincter during urination and urine storage, so that the therapeutic agent does not induce oliguria or urinary retention and has no serious side effect. Nicorandil or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is used as an active ingredient.

摘要: A tuning-fork type vibration gyro enables to suppress pyroelectric noise caused by temperature change and to obtain sensor output having high signal-to-noise ratio. The tuning-fork type vibration gyro includes a tuning-fork type vibration body having two arms mutually disposed in parallel and a base for commonly supporting one end of the each arm, wherein a longitudinal direction of the two arms is defined as a z-axis and a perpendicular direction thereto is defined as an x-axis; driving electrodes respectively formed on the two arms for generating vibration of the two arms in a direction parallel to the x-axis; detecting electrodes respectively formed on the two arms for detecting electromotive force generated when the tuning-fork type vibration body is rotated around the z-axis; and dummy electrodes formed on the two arms in respective areas different from the driving electrodes and the detecting electrodes.

摘要: A method and apparatus for determining the chemical structure of an unknown substance wherein spectral data of the unknown substance is detected, a point-assessment is calculated which expresses the degree of possibility of partial structures being contained in the unknown substance based on the spectral data and prememorized chemical shift values corresponding to the partial structures of known substances, it is judged whether the point-assessment is a predetermined threshold value or more and the partial structures with a large possibility of being contained in the unknown substance based on the output of the judgement results are found and displayed. The partial structures thus found are used to determine a molecular structure of the unknown substance.

摘要: The present invention provides a carbon-containing refractory composition characterized by containing 0.1-10 parts by weight of silicon hexaboride in 100 parts by weight of refractory material comprising 3-95 parts by weight of carbonaceous material such as graphite and 97-5 parts by weight of refractory aggregate. In the carbon-containing refractory composition of the present invention, silicon hexaboride is oxidized producing boron oxide on the surface of the refractory at a high temperature during operation, and the surface of the refractory is covered by the formation of a highly viscous molten liquid like kotoite (3 MgO.B.sub.2 O.sub.3), for example, which is formed from the components of the refractory, such as MgO, for example, thus particles of carbonaceous material such as graphite can be protected from oxidation. The present invention therefore provides a refractory that has superior oxidation resistance which can be effectively utilized in such fields as metallurgy, pig iron production, steel production, etc.
