The thermally curable resin composition for a protective film of the present invention includes an alkoxy group-containing silane-modified epoxy resin as an essential component to have excellent film strength and adhesive strength, and thus may be effectively used in a protective film of a color filter for a liquid crystal display device.

    摘要: This invention provides a thermally curable resin copolymer (A), composed mainly of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer (a-1), which produces an acid via decomposition at 150° C. or more, an ethylenically unsaturated monomer (a-2) containing an epoxy group copolymerizable with the ethylenically unsaturated monomer (a-1), and an ethylenically unsaturated monomer (a-3) having a reactive silyl group; a thermally curable resin composition including the thermally curable resin copolymer; a cured film formed from the composition; and a liquid crystal display including the cured film. The thermally curable resin composition has extended storage stability and can be formed into the cured film having good adhesion to a substrate.

    摘要: Disclosed is a display panel including a lower substrate, upper substrate, and a patterned spacer that causes the lower substrate and upper substrate to be spaced apart from each other by a predetermined distance, wherein the patterned spacer is obtained from a photosensitive resin composition comprising: (a) a triazine-based photopolymerization initiator represented by the following formula 1; (b) an alkali-soluble photo polymerizable reactive resin binder; and (c) a polymerizable compound: (wherein each of R1-R5 has the same meaning as defined herein). A photosensitive resin composition for use in a patterned spacer is also disclosed, the composition comprising: (a) a triazine-based photopolymerization initiator represented by the following formula 1; (b) an alkali-soluble photopolymerizable reactive resin binder; (c) a polymerizable compound; and (d) a solvent. The photosensitive resin composition shows high sensitivity and excellent properties related with development, and provides a patterned spacer having excellent strength, sensitivity, residue characteristics, film uniformity, residual film ratio, etc.
