摘要： To provide a water purifier, containing: a diluting unit configured to bring targeted water for purification into contact with an aqueous solution containing a volatile solute and a polymer via a semi-permeable membrane so as to separate water from the targeted water by the semi-permeable membrane, and configured to dilute the aqueous solution with the separated water; a separating unit configured to separate the volatile solute and the polymer from the diluted aqueous solution obtained by the diluting unit so as to obtain purified water; and a dissolving unit configured to return the separated volatile solute by the separating unit to the aqueous solution containing the polymer, and to allow the separated volatile solute to dissolve in the aqueous solution containing the polymer.

摘要： In a gas barrier laminate film comprising a base material film containing an inorganic compound and at least one set of inorganic layer and organic layer formed on the base material film, the base material film is formed with a resin having a glass transition temperature of 250° C. or higher. A gas barrier laminate film that has superior durability, heat resistance and gas barrier performance, shows a small difference in coefficient of linear expansion relative to an contiguous layer and can maintain superior gas barrier property even if it is bent is provided.

摘要： A dye fixing element for use in an image formation system which is adapted to superimpose a light-sensitive element and a dye fixing element provided on separate supports upon each other so that diffusible dyes are transferred to said dye fixing element to form an image, which is characterized in that a matting agent is incorporated in either a layer nearer to said support than a dye fixing layer in said dye fixing element or a layer provided between said dye fixing layer and a surface protective layer.The dye fixing element can be used to provide a good matte image that satisfies the requirements for matte surface, i.e., low gloss, texture that prevents the image from being seen white, difficulty for white spot in occurring on the transferred image, and surface condition that gives no glare.

The present invention provides a method for cutting a biological sample by light irradiation, which comprises locating the biological sample and a colored film having a thickness of 3 to 6 &mgr;m onto one side of a support, and irradiating the biological sample with a light beam, thereby cutting out a target area of the biological sample.
