摘要： An image forming apparatus with a sorter which is capable of performing image formation even during the implementation of a post-process. The image forming apparatus includes the sorter which has a non-sort bin and sort bins for receiving sheets each formed with an image, and a post-processor for performing the post-process on sheets received by the sort bins. When an interruption mode is designated during the post-process, the image formation is permitted while the post-process is continuously performed. Further, the sorter is controlled to discharge a sheet formed with an image into the non-sort bin. Thus, the image formation can be performed concurrently with post-process. Since the sheet formed with the image is discharged into the non-sort bin which is adapted not to receive sheets to be subjected to the post process, a jam will not occur even if an error occurs during the post-process.

摘要： An image forming apparatus which forms identical images both on a sheet of a first type (overhead projector sheet) and on a sheet of a second type (normal paper sheet). One-side image formation is performed to form images on front sides of OHP sheets which are then discharged into a non-sort bin. Two-side image formation is performed to form images on the both sides of normal paper sheets which are then sorted and discharged into sort bins. Thus, sets of document sheets for presentation can be prepared in a sorted state. Since images are formed on both sides of the normal paper sheets, the normal sheets can be economized and saved.

摘要： Provided is a hybrid-type polyester resin which, when used in processing a base material such as textile or PET film, can impart excellent flame retardance to the base material. The hybrid-type polyester resin can be inhibited from scattering high-temperature drips, even if the hybrid-type polyester resin burns. The hybrid-type polyester resin comprises both a polyester resin and a siloxane prepared from silica and an alkoxysilane. Therefore, the hybrid-type polyester resin retains the excellent properties inherent in polyester resin and exhibits extremely excellent flame retardance by virtue of hybridization with the siloxane. Even if the hybrid-type polyester resin burns, the hybrid-type polyester resin is less susceptible to deformation, and is therefore inhibited from scattering high-temperature drips.

摘要： A lockup clutch mechanism of a hydraulic transmission device includes a lockup piston that is capable of moving toward a front cover to press first and second friction plates, and a flange member that together with the lockup piston defines an engagement-side oil chamber. The front cover and the lockup piston define a first lubricant passage that supplies hydraulic oil to the first and second friction plates. A second lubricant passage communicating with the first lubricant passage is formed in a centerpiece of the front cover. A first shaft oil passage communicating with the engagement-side oil chamber and a second shaft oil passage communicating with the second lubricant passage are formed in an input shaft.

An outer peripheral portion of the lockup piston is located closer to the outer periphery than an outer peripheral portion of a flange member. A part of the lockup piston is placed in a region located between first and second springs and a third spring of the damper device in a radial direction and in the range of an axial width of the third spring located closer to the lockup piston.

摘要： The power consumption of a data sampling unit that selects a phase of a clock signal appropriate for sampling payload data is reduced at an input interface. A semiconductor integrated circuit includes an input interface and internal core circuits. The input interface includes a hysteresis circuit and a data sampling unit. The hysteresis circuit detects an input signal between first and second input thresholds as a sleep command. The data sampling unit selects an appropriate phase of a sampling clock signal in accordance with a synchronizing signal and samples payload data. When a sleep command is detected, a sleep signal is also supplied to the internal core circuits and the data sampling unit and they are controlled into a low-power consumption state.
