    摘要: An engine of a vehicle is to be started by only a simple operation. For example, when judging that the shift position is moved from “P” to another position, ECU transmits “request” for certifying a portable electronic key in the form of LF. When receiving UHF as “answer”, ECU outputs an engine start permitting signal. Accordingly, the engine start processing is finished, and the engine of the vehicle is started in response to output of the engine start permitting signal. The present invention is applicable to an antitheft system of a vehicle.
