Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of preparing a secondary battery which includes providing a film layer, which includes a first solvent having a melting temperature of 25° C. or more and a viscosity of 1.5 cP or more, between a separator and an electrode (step 1), preparing an electrode assembly by using the electrode, the film layer, and the separator (step 2), and accommodating the electrode assembly in a case, injecting an injection solution including a second solvent, and sealing the case (step 3), and a secondary battery prepared by the method. According to the method of preparing a secondary battery of the preset invention, since electrolyte solution impregnability may be improved, performance and safety of the secondary battery may be further improved.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for activating a secondary battery. The present invention comprises: a primary charging step of charging a secondary battery including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator, and an electrolyte; a room temperature-aging step of storing, at a room temperature, the secondary battery that has undergone the primary charging step; and a high temperature-aging step of storing, at a high temperature, the secondary battery that has undergone the room temperature-aging step, wherein charging/discharging is performed by alternately applying + current and − current to the secondary battery at the end of the primary charging step. The method for activating a secondary battery according to the present invention includes alternately applying + current and − current to the secondary battery at the end of the primary charging step to stabilize an SEI film, thereby shortening a following-up aging time.

Abstract: A non-aqueous electrolyte solution for a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery including the same are disclosed herein. In an embodiment, the electrolyte solution includes a lithium salt, an organic solvent, a compound represented by Formula 1 as a first additive, lithium difluorophosphate (LiDFP) as a second additive, wherein the first additive and the second additive are each independently included in an amount of 0.01 wt % to 8.5 wt % based on a total amount of the non-aqueous electrolyte solution. The first additive has metal ion adsorbability and is capable of forming a stable ion conductive film on the surface of an electrode, and a lithium secondary battery in which an abnormal voltage drop phenomenon is improved by including the same.
