摘要： According to the present invention is an electrophotographic imaging member which is a thin dual layer structure comprising a top layer of a durable and wear-resistant layer and a bottom layer which is bipolar. The electrophotographic imaging member of the invention may be top surface charge generating or bottom surface charge generating and in either case has an overall negative charging mode of operation.

摘要： A process for forming a dispersion including forming a mixture including agglomerates of primary particles, a film forming binder and a solvent for the binder, the primary particles having an average size of less than about 500 nanometers, applying sufficient heat energy to the mixture while stirring to disintegrate the agglomerates into separate primary particles having an average size of less than about 500 nanometers to form a dispersion substantially free of agglomerates, and slowly cooling the dispersion to maintain separation between the primary particles in the dispersion.

An electrophotographic imaging member is also prepared comprising a charge generating layer prepared according to this process.
