    摘要: A piston for an internal combustion engine includes a piston head and a piston skirt, wherein the piston head has a piston base, a circumferential ring part and, in the region of the ring part, a circumferential closed cooling channel or sealed cavity. An inner side of the piston has two lower surfaces which transform continuously in the region of the piston central axis (M) to form an arched surface. The piston skirt has piston hubs provided with hub bores which are interconnected by means of running surfaces which have inner surfaces facing the inside of the piston. Starting from the free ends of the piston skirt, inside the piston on the pressure side (DS) and/or counter pressure side (GDS), an inner surface of a running surface continuously transforms into a guiding surface for a coolant which transforms continuously on the side thereof into a lower surface.

    摘要: An annular cooling channel cover for a piston may include an elastic material body having opposing end faces. At least two opposing end regions may provide a joint gap and at least one feed element for a coolant may be received in at least one opening disposed in the cooling channel cover. The feed element may include an inlet region and an outlet region, and may be held on the cooling channel cover via a clip-on latching connection. Spring clips may be disposed on the inlet region of the feed element, and/or latching elements may be disposed on the outlet region of the feed element. The spring clips may engage one of the end faces and the latching elements may engage the opposing end face. A closure element may engage into the joint gap to close the same.

A spring tab may be disposed on the inlet region of the supply element, and/or a latching element may be disposed on the outlet region of the supply element.     摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing a piston (1) for an internal combustion engine, characterized by the following method steps: producing an upper piston part (2) and a lower piston part (3) having one or more recesses (4, 4′) for forming a closed cavity (5); introducing a heat transfer medium (6), in particular one or more alkali metals, that is solid or paste-like at ambient temperature and liquid at the intended operating temperature of the piston, into the recesses (4, 4′) of the lower piston part (3) and/or of the upper piston part (2), wherein the heat transfer medium (6) is provided in order, during the operative state of the piston (1), to effect heat transport within the piston (1) by convection; closing the recesses to form the closed cavity (5) which encloses the heat transfer medium (6); and connecting the upper piston part (2) to the lower piston part (3). This enables the piston (1) to be produced in a simplified manner.
