    摘要: The present invention provides a thermoplastic vulcanizate prepared by a process comprising the steps of dynamically vulcanizing rubber within a blend that includes the rubber and a thermoplastic resin, where the rubber comprises an elastomeric copolymer of ethylene, at least one α-olefin, and optionally one or more diene monomers, where the elastomeric copolymer is characterized by having a crystallinity, as measured by differential scanning calorimetry, of less than 10 J/g, an ethylene content that is less than 90 mole percent based upon the entire copolymer, a weight average molecular weight that is greater than about 20,000 as measured by GPC with polystyrene standards, a molecular weight distribution that is less than 7, and an ethylene compositional distribution that is less than about 4 percent for the closest 90 percent of fractioned samples.

In one embodiment, the composite material of the present invention comprises a metallic core, a first layer, and a second layer. The first layer encases the external surfaces of the metallic core and is produced by electroplating copper or copper alloy from a first bath containing copper ions. The second layer encases the first layer and is produced by electroplating white bronze from a second bath containing copper and tin ions. According to one embodiment of the method of the present invention, the first layer is electroplated on the metallic core and the second layer is electroplated on the first layer. In another embodiment of the composite material and method of the present invention, the material comprises only the metallic core and a first layer of white bronze. The resulting composite has a silvery-white appearance and does not include exposed nickel so that persons allergic to nickel metals are not affected by the composite. The composite material may be configured by standard processing methods to finished products such as coins, tokens, and medallions.

An apparatus may comprise a resource server may have an authentication proxy component to perform authentication operations on behalf of a client. The authentication proxy component comprises an authentication handling module operative to receive an authentication request to authenticate the client using a basic authentication protocol. The authentication proxy component also comprises an authentication discovery module communicatively coupled to the authentication handling module, the authentication discovery module operative to discover an identity server for the client. The authentication proxy component further comprises an authentication manager module communicatively coupled to the authentication discovery module, the authentication manager module operative to retrieve authentication information from the identity server using an enhanced authentication protocol, and authenticate the client to access resource services using the authentication information.
