The vaginal insert device includes at least a resilient member capable of expanding to transmit pressure to the urethro-vaginal myofascial area. The resilient member and any additional layers are formed into an elongated member, which may be then be shaped into a M-shaped shaped profile or a dome-shaped profile.

Upon solidifying, the composition defines an insert that, in one embodiment, is suitable for use as a tampon and, in another embodiment, is suitable for use as an incontinence device.
