    摘要: A balancer shaft apparatus efficiently prevent oil from being stirred in the oil pan and from being splashed into the cylinder block during the balancer-shaft rotation. Oil in a housing of the balancer shaft is discharged from a drainage hole formed at such a location above an oil level as to contact a base serving as a bearing beam of a crankshaft supporting member. The discharged oil hits inner surfaces of a recess formed on the lower portion of the crankshaft supporting member to form oil drops, returning to an oil pan. The housing is provided with guide passages connecting the drainage holes to a space in which the balancer shaft is disposed for draining the oil. These guide passages are formed with tapered guide surfaces for orienting the oil towards the lower portions of the crankshaft supporting member while splashed oil caused by the balancer-shaft rotation is drained through the drainage holes.

    摘要: An engine balancer includes a pair of balancer shafts and a balancer housing for housing the balancer shafts, and is placed in an oil pan at the bottom of an engine. The balancer housing includes a pair of front and rear bearing walls respectively supporting the balancer shafts with rolling bearings interposed therebetween.     摘要: An oil pump unit comprises a pump shaft and a pump housing which stores the pump shaft. A balancer unit comprises a pair of balancer shafts and a balancer housing which stores the balancer shafts. The pump housing and the balancer housing are coupled to each other at least in the vicinity of a periphery of the pump shaft, and at a coupling portion in the vicinity of the periphery of a power transmission shaft is formed a connection groove which connects the inside to the inside of the coupling portion. Accordingly, it can be retrained that the reliability of journal portions of the balancer shaft of the balancer unit and the like is deteriorated by dusts and the like contained in high-pressure oil from the oil pump unit in a balancer device of an engine.

The first bearing portion is configured of a hole formed by half-split portions of the both cases and the second bearing portion is configured of a hole formed integrally at the case extension portion.
